A black that opposes the Obama agenda? If you view the mainstream media and read your daily news, such a thing does not seem possible? Fortunately, the good people of Project 21 and the National Center for Public Policy Research decided to do a little homework of their own and to size up the opinion of those black Americans we don't often hear about following the President's State of the Union address.

Kudos to the author. I didn’t see African-American once. I despise that term.
Really? From what I see they are solid. A big reason is that 60% of employed blacks work for government jobs. Also alot recieve government handouts. His being black has a lot to do with it too. They think big government is in their intrest and they trust the government.
I am happy to say that I run into a reasonably significant number of people in the construction industry who have black heritage and are not Obama thralls.
First of all, there is no such term as African-Americans, although there are good sized numbers of African Blacks who have migrated to America from various countries in Africa. Most Blacks in America are just simply Americans like the rest of us are. And....yes there are thousands and thousands of Black Americans that cannot stand elitist, anti-American, socialist, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama. Those blacks folks, God bless them, are astute, wise enough, smart enough and pragmatic enough to understand and realize that POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and the likes of Representative James Clyburn (CBC) hasve done absolutely nothing for Blacks and minorities in general. Unemployment in these groups dwarfs all other groups. Barack Hussein Obama is doing more damage to Blacks and other minorities then the entire KKK did in all the years they were a racist menace. It really is a shame that more Black Americans cannot grasp what a loser Obama, the entire CBC and the Democrat Party is to the welfare and opportunity of Blacks in general. This is nothing new, and I doubt the relationship will change. Sometimes I believe Black Americans actually enjoy being kept in economic and opportunity “slavery” by the likes of Obama, Clyburn and the Democrat Party in general. I’d ask them to get with the program, but it would be to little avail. Poor folk cannot see the forest for the trees!!!
More than 9 in 10 love the 6 1/4 percent “Blackbarry.”
I’m always wondering how the blacks who are out of work since this economy of O’s feel about him. Illinois, his home town, aren’t they doing miserably?
How could you love a guy who since elected is spending our money like a drunken sailor while everyone is losing their job?
and as for the unemployment level drop of what, .5%, well under Bush unemployment was 4%. We look like the European/socialist countries these days.
What about the inner citieso f Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit and so forth? Yes I know of woman whom happened to be nurses and black and they do not support the O agenda. However I have no contact with the inner cities of Wisconsin, Michigan or Illinois living a rural area. The liitle contact that I do have is inmates being moved from detroit to the local state pen. However as soon as the inmates serve their time they leave the cold climate of the Upper Peninsula. In Detroit they lined up signing up for the Obama Stash.
Yep,
There are a few blacks who do not support obammy.
What maybe 8 ?
Just 99% of them
Sometimes I believe Black Americans actually enjoy being kept in economic and opportunity slavery by the likes of Obama
...not all of us do, honey....
Count me as 1 of the 8, Joe Boucher. My hope is that many more escape the plantation in 2012.
My greatest fear is that after the Obama debacle a black candidate is going to have one hellofa time running for the highest public office in the land.
Whatever he calls himself, Barry, or Barrack, was given a blank check, by the MSM and even the opposing candidate. Who wound being a spendthrift, wasting the opportuity, our tax money, on socialists schemes or an extravagant lifestyle during an economic time where his fellow citizens are suffering.
If this happened in Russia they’d be calling him (under their breath) a socialist pig.
Alas there were American’s who happened to be black conservatives raising their voices against him. And are still doing so. What we hear from, even on conservative talk radio are Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson.
I earnestly hope this changes. Particularly in talk radio where guys like; Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Savage, give black conservative talk show hosts , and they’re out there, more sub hosting shots.

I know you are brwnsuga,
I’ve read your about page.
GOD bless ya.

I have a question for you if I may?
Blcaks and Jews vote overwhelmingly for Obamma though it is not in their interests.
Why?
In blacks I can see association but Jews?
My belief is that is more out of habit for black people than anything. Although is was Democrats that originally opposed civil rights for blacks during the struggle, it was also Democratic presidents Kennedy and Johnson who eventually signed many civil rights laws. I can’t tell you how many black homes and business establishments I’ve been in where MLK and Kennedy portraits hang side-by-side on the wall. So, black people have forgotten about the Dixiecrats that pushed Jim Crow laws and “States Rights”. Black people should also take into account the gifts that Democrats have gifted our community with: welfare and abortion, the two things that have wreaked havoc on our community. Someone in the Republican party needs to be able to get a new message to black people about how what it stands for can only help the black community: self sufficiency, low taxes (= new jobs), pro life (black children are aborted at astronomical rates), and a strong national defense. During my husband’s 20+ years in the military we were, ofcourse, stationed with black patriots who are forgetting that Obama doesn’t really understand the military life and NOW there is the smallest COLA in years.
What I learned when I was in the military is that there is so little difference between us and the guy next to you may be better than even I.
Work HARD,
Believe in GOD.
Also abortion is gub mint sponsored and paid for in poor areas. A prety sorry form of birth control.
If I may ask another question,
Why is the Black community not going crazy with illegals?
Illegals take jobs poor blacks (especially youth) would take.
No, just 97% of them. I really feel for the other 3%, and what they must go through at family gatherings.
