We confess that nothing shall by any means hurt Rifqa and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Having taken authority over the enemy as led by LTOS, we confess that his assignment against her is broken and she is free. We bless You, Lord, for giving us this authority and for the great mercy and grace You show towards this precious child of yours. We are so grateful that all You do is in righteousness, motivated by Your great love for her. We worship You, Sir, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Looks like the eye injury happened in 2000. The reports were that she’d fallen on a toy airplane that pierced her right eye. Other reports are that her brother threw something at her, which hit her in the eye.
The thing is, she found Christ a few years *after* her eye was injured, in 2005.
Let’s pursue truth, and not rely on fabrications to support this girl.

I’m pointing out your hypocrisy in making competing unsubstantiated claims, then calling out someone else on an unsubstantiated claim.
You want people to confirm what you say on their own, and yet you refuse them the same courtesy.

MortMan, no need to be contentious. The injury took place in 2000. Her family moved to the States so she could get treatment. She converted to Christ in 2005. Those are just the facts.
The two reasons stated for the injury: 1) she fell on a toy airplane and 2) her brother threw something at her. That’s all over the web. A simple google search provides those two explanations.
The claim that “her loving father took it out in a punch she says knocked her across the room” is just rumor; I’ve not found that statement substantiated anywhere. And we should not promote that statement if it’s merely rumor, and not fact. We’re better than that on FR.
If it is just rumor, then you are correct that it shouldn't be promulgated here. But, you still fail to hold yourself to the same standards you hold others.

What I’ve written about the eye injury is not at all controversial. Not sure why you’re making such a big deal out of it. On the other hand, saying that the father caused the injury upon discovering his daughter’s faith in Christ **is** controversial, and seemingly unsubstantiated.
I just wanted to say amen to your prayers, and thanks to all of you for responding.
