This photo below was taken at a competition in June 2008. The competition was between 9 women for best makeover.
They had every possible beauty treatment available to them over a period of 12 hours before the contest.
Look at the before and after photos. Conclusion - there are no ugly women only poor women.

Yep - I can go from “Yikes” first thing in the morning to “Whoa” after 15 minutes at the make-up mirror...
Well that’s swell. Now as soon as you make Helen Thomas look like Marilyn Monroe, I’ll buy your premise.
That woman who looks so good tonight may look like ten miles of bad road tomorrow.
Of course, the same is true for us guys, but I think to a lesser degree because women have more options for getting themselves fixed up.
I agree with you.....I’m 95% positive this is from The Swan, and the woman 3rd from the right was the winner. I saw her on Dr. Phil a year later, and her marriage was in trouble because her husband couldn’t handle her new attractiveness.
I can fix those women much cheaper. 2 six packs of beer and all of them are tens.
Never gotten far enough with an ugly broad to verify whether shutting the light off helps. I am blessed — my wife is way out of my league. Haha.

HILARIOUS!!!
The revised Merline Norman looks like Paula Jones.
the one in red, Merline, looks like Paula Jones after her makeover.
Since when is Oprah Winfrey poor?
Joy Behar?
Helen Thomas?
Donna Shalala?
Paris Hilton?
The author of the article didn’t bother to do any basic research - this picture is from the TV show “The Swan” filmed several years ago, and many of these women had plastic surgery over a period of three months. There were also outcries at the time about how abusive the producers of the show were toward those women who didn’t want as much work done as they were forced to get.
nothing will fix andrea mitchell.
Hah! Beat ya by 37 seconds! :^D
Yeah ... none of those women were fundamentally ugly to begin with — reasonably proportionate, no wierd features, etc. They were just extremely frumpy and poorly kept.
There isn’t enough glamourous wardrobe or spackle in this world to fix up Joy Behar or Rosie O’Donnell.

“No woman is to blame for not being beautiful at sixteen, but she has only herself to blame if she is not beautiful at forty.” Fra Lippo.
Where are the messy aprons and freshly prepared meals? Where are the clean homes and happy children? Trust Hollywood to completely miss what makes a wife attractive. I need a sequined wife in a wig like I need a kickstand on my car.
