I have been a law-abiding citizen all my life. I've always played by the rules. That is about to change. The early morning passage yesterday of the Senate health care bill requires every American to purchase health insurance. I refuse. I will not abide by this bill if it is passed into law. And if the government levies a fine, I will not pay it. I've had enough.
There comes a time when a line in the sand must be drawn. I've just drawn mine. I've listened to the outright lies our politicians have spouted in order to pass this legislation, which, by the way, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government control.
Democrats declared this bill was deficit neutral. Not so, says the Congressional Budget Office. Alas, this wasn't reported until minutes after the bill passed the Senate
Dems say this bill will allow an additional 30 million people to be covered while not affecting prices. Helloo....this goes contrary to the very basic law of supply and demand.
I've had enough of the back door deals, the outright bribes, the lies, the rush, and the absolute arrogance of our elected officials who patronizingly tell me with a straight face that black is white and if I questions their wisdom, why I must be a loony tea-bagger who doesn't believe in the rule of gravity. Enough!!

And why they incrementally pass gun law after gun law...Flood the country with tens of millions of the uneducated, ignorant....One would need to be blind not to see which direction the U.S. standard of living is heading....Just having a secure job in today's middle America is becoming rare.

Will have a legitimate reason to go underground and will have a vast support network thanks to the idiots in DC. If there is no paper trail of you making any money, the Feds can do nothing. I know. Went 5 years without even filing a tax return. It is actually legal if you have very little visible income. When I started making some decent money again, I fully reported everything. But now the feds are gonna give me a legitimate and moral reason to hide. Much better to go underground then to let them haul you off to jail. Heck, we have millions of underground illegals in this country right now. Many who work and the wages do not get reported.

I think it was the utopian 19th century utopian novel `Looking Backward’ by Edward Bellamy that used the example of the wagon, some pulling and some riding.
Irony is that it was socialist propaganda, but as more of those in the traces pulling the wagon saw fewer pulling and more climbing on, eventually the ride ended.
I’ve worked hard since I was 15. My first job was breaking down boxes and cleaning shopping carts. Now that I’m a professional, in my mid-50s and maybe in my peak earning years, I still plan on semi-retirement, more bartering for services, more leisure time, older cars, etc. I won’t turn the wheel for the socialists and their dependants.
There are many of us prepared to stop Zero’s voters should it come to that. I’ve been expecting such an uprising of the blacks since the prospect of him being hauled out of the White House in handcuffs for being an illegal alien was raised.
If he gets ousted either by the law, or by an election in ‘12, the reaction of the black population will not be pretty. In that eventuality I plan on staying well armed, and staying well away from ghettos.

Kind of from that, and the other posts of yours on this thread. Look, I know 99.999% of people, myself included sad to say, have too much to lose to force the issue if it comes down to government liens and seizures. But I still have a little too much hope for our spirit as a nation to believe it will ever come to that. And if it actually does come to that, then I don’t want to live here anymore anyway.

Hmmm, I thought everyone that had income had to file. Tell me, without filing, how do they know how much your income was?
That is the fun part. They will all probably be wearing ridiculous looking fascists uniforms to boot.
Read the IRS tax publications. You have to have a minimum amount of income to meet the requirement to file. That is how all those poor people get by without paying or filing. My last two years before not filing I was working for a company and made over 60 K each year. Then went 5 years without enough income to file. Was doing the starving writers gig. All legal. All legit.

If you really believe that then give up your health insurance, I would rather get my care from a regular doctor than sit in some ER somewhere.
How do they organize a national strike like they do in France and other euro countries?
We need to look into the details of getting this done.
If they can do it over there, it’s obviously doable.
We currently have millions of them in our country called illegal aliens. They are flocking to America because they can have all those things without being legit.
The strike angle is the best I’ve heard in this thread.
I’m willing to wait until the mid term elections. If we make enough progress, I’m willing to wait until the election in ‘12. If we elect a real conservative, we can fix the problem.
If progress stops anywhere along the way, I’m looking at retiring and emigrating. Not sure where, but am starting to look.
