Went 5 years without even filing a tax return. It is actually legal if you have very little visible income. When I started making some decent money again, I fully reported everything. But now the feds are gonna give me a legitimate and moral reason to hide. Much better to go underground then to let them haul you off to jail. Heck, we have millions of underground illegals in this country right now. Many who work and the wages do not get reported.
