So my fellow conservatives Was defending Carrie Prejean worth it or did we prop her up on a pedestal a little too soon? Was it really a good idea to see her as our poster girl just because we salivated over a few sentences that she uttered at a beauty pageant?
We should have known better using a beauty queen to try to get our message across. What were we thinking?
And yes, I am sure that we can thank our good friends on the left for digging up these uncomplimentary images and video about Prejean.
Thats what they do best.
But if the allegations are true, then Prejean is a hypocrite and we all look like idiots.

Not really. She has right to her views despite what she did on camera. I really would like to see the video to make a final judgment.
I rather look like an idiot for supporting Prejean when be an idiot for supporting Obama.
But that’s just me.
We did?
Thought that was John Edwards.
I think we need to see the tape, before deciding for ourselves. So far, these are just baseless allegations, and we need to see the evidence. :p
I don’t get the point of this article.
We didn’t defend Prejean because she was purity personified.
We defended Prejean - and still defend her - because she answered a question on TV without genuflecting to the Gay Baal.
She literally spoke truth to power and the Liberal wolfpack want her to die. I couldn’t care less that she has some ‘glamor shots’.
I thought support for her was as much about her being a victim of PC ridicule and intolerance than what she actually said.
Many of us weren’t in support of her personally but were fed up with anyone that speaks their opinion being ridiculed for having a point of view and that point of view being damaging to them professionally.
We’re told time and time again that us refusing to go to movies, buy albums or watch TV shows with idiot liberal performers is censorship. Well for once, we got to turn things around.
I never thought of her as someone worth defending personally yet was entirely in favor of throwing back the liberal stance on “censorship” being applied as much to those that they disagreed with as those they agreed with.
I think a lot of us males here put her up on a pedestal just so we could scope out her butt.
"...I really would like to see the video to make a final judgment..."
As do I, but it had little to do with "judgement"!
I understand it was a solo act wherein she pleasured herself. That's just wrong, wrong, wrong. But yeah, I'd really like to see the video, simply for scientific and archival purposes.

I agree 100% with your post.
She did more than glamour shots. Apparently there is a sex video of her, only she’s by herself.
Learn to judge people without you quick gun attitude. The left is good a picking on people with weak evidence.
Dig enough and you’ll find dirt on everyone. Goodness knows, beauty pageant judge Mario Armando Lavandeira aka Perez Hilton (a Paris Hilton wannabe) has so much dirt you’d need a hazmat suit.
What do these other things have to do with fact she was slammed for speaking against same sex marriage? This is the left’s way of discrediting her story. This is playing right into the other side. All the other women in this competition who were on the side of same sex marriage are angels. They get a pass. In summary not guilty
I don’t think it was a mistake. I’m betting every Christian has bad stuff in their past that they regret doing. I know I do. An essential part of Christianity is repenting of the sinful behavior the past. Christians sin too. Sometimes it may be hypocrisy if a person claims Christ and isn’t his. But more often it’s weakness.
Don’t kill the messenger.
Maybe we should of defended Perez Hilton?? Hmmmm?
Exactly. The only perfect man last walked this Earth over two thousand years ago and there ain't never been a perfect woman.
No. Not at all. She had a right to express herself freely. She did nothing wrong.
Political correctness was designed to silence people from speaking out against the liberal agenda. If you notice, only the left wing special interest groups are "protected" by it. The same thing applies to hate crimes. Do they protect ANY member of a RIGHT wing group? No, they don't.
Like Carrie, people need to speak out loud and clear while they still can, or they'll forever be holding their tongues.
Like Carrie, SPEAK UP!
