CAN EVOLUTION PRODUCE AN EYE? Evolution vs. Creation
The Ignorant Fishermen Blog ^ | 1/1/94 | Dr. David N. Menton, Ph.D.

The following is by Dr. David N. Menton, Ph.D. It is copyrighted 1994 by Missouri Association for Creation --

The human brain consists of approximately 12 billion cells, forming 120 trillion interconnections. The light sensitive retina of the eye (which is really part of the brain) contains over 10 million photoreceptor cells. These cells capture the light pattern formed by the lens and convert it into complex electrical signals, which are then sent to a special area of the brain where they are transformed into the sensation we call vision.

In an article in "Byte" magazine (April 1985), John Stevens compares the signal processing ability of the cells in the retina with that of the most sophisticated computer designed by man, the Cray supercomputer:

Is this same God incapable of revealing Himself and telling the truth through Judeo-Christian scripture?

He is capable of it. He is equally capable of doing it through any religious text. Man is equally capable of creating those texts for his own purposes. Man is not capable of manufacturing Creation for his own purposes. Which one is more reliable?

...or so the indoctrination goes...

Until of course one begins to speak of earth age...then not only does it become critical and people do contortions to shout others down if one dares question the secular humanist materialists...

which is humorus, because if one talks about the earth being thousands of years old rather than billions of years old, if the earth turns out to be, oh let’s say 100 million years old, who is closer to the truth?

He is equally capable of doing it through any religious text.

That's curious because earlier you indicated:

He reveals Himself in His Creation. Man reveals himself in what he claims God thinks.

...but as long a it can be used as a tactic to discount Judeo-Christian scripture, I suppose it somehow then regains it's validity.

Man is not capable of manufacturing Creation for his own purposes.

Funny because the secular humanist materialists are sure trying hard to create life in the lab and say it's only a matter of time.

What man IS capable of is recognizing His creation, and...

I believe God isn't so impersonal as to leave us guessing...and after all, anytime someone even mentions the word "creation", the secualr humanist materialist liberals become unglued and see any and every recognition of His creation as "a religious attack on science".

Okay, you’ve had your opportunity to cast dispersions, epithets, and perjoratives. Your day is complete.

“Okay, you’ve had your opportunity to cast dispersions, epithets, and perjoratives. Your day is complete”.

Actually, I exposed them but I can see how you would confuse that issue with your endless projections, strawmen and ciruclar reasoning.

Not to mention being rendered blind by so much liberal indoctrination that you can’t identify it, when after all it supports your own ideology.

You guys weren’t given the keys to science and for all your lectures to everyone else, this is something you routinely fail to recognize and overlook, so it’s good for you to be reminded occasionally.

Endlessly picking at people for being intolerant like you did with TIF, when those same people are merely exposing intolerance...namely YOUR intolerance...won’t be given a free pass.

Your back and forth “religious texts” argument, your back and forth “man revealing himself” argument, all while excluding yourself from all these rules, SHOULD be a daily endeavor.

Actually it should be confronted each and every time! And to be fair, it’s not just you.

lol..oh man...

Matter.. Who made the matter? Laws of science.. Who made the Laws of science? Time, chance, hydrogen and 0’s produced abundant and multitudinous life species each individually unique and multi faceted separated by the wall of kinds, with built in genetic codes (as a super computer) wondrous in beauty, boundless in creative design and vast .. and different… all from a big bang…lol! Who’s the fool my friend. Think it through and have faith in Almighty God and not your religion of Darwinism…

(1 Cor. 1:25-29)

Be what you want my friend.. We are all free to choose! Thanks for the debate!

Yeah, we’re cretins, since we don’t believe in your little Darwin fantasy. We just don’t have that much Faith. Just cause evolution is the first step to gummit worship, no reason for Conservatives not to believe in it.

Pray for America’s Freedom
