A very interested article by D.K. Jamaal, of The Progressive Examiner, tells us like it is. The left continues, not only underestimate Governor Palin, but to discredit her at every opportunity while losing every single debate. Its not even 2012, and Sarah Palin, the lightweight Caribou Barbie stupid dumb right-wing inexperienced unqualified unaccomplished religious wacko birther enabling nut that came from Wasilla, has already defeated President Obama.
She has trounced Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. She has trumped MoveOn, ACORN, and Obamas mass army of volunteers at Organizing for America. She has out-demagogued the three stooges of MSNBC Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Rachel Maddow.
When is the beatification?
You know, for such an ‘airhead’, she sure has Obama sweating all the time with her razor sharp analysis of a problem which she communicates in simple English.
That’s a gift that someone like Newt or Jindal do not have.
That said, I think she needs a little more polish — but she has two years. I think she will do fine, and will become a force to reckon with.
Surely you are not going to suggest Newt or Max Headroom Mitt Romney? or Juan McCain?
All while the Republican party is running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
they come to a screeching halt every time she updates her Facebook page....nuff said
I don’t know what’s behind the Stepdown, but everything else she has done, I’ve liked. She evokes Reagan for me...not afraid to get in a wrassel, and calls a retangular shovel a reatangular shovel.
I don’t believe Sarah can win, she has not ever done well with independents and scares the blue dogs. Yes, she appeals to the base very well, but that doesn’t win elections. The press will hammer away at her as a quitter, someone who cut and run from the hard realities of public service for book deals, speaking fees and who knos what else.
Hopefully, a candidate that appeals enough to the swing voters to win the election will emerge. AT this point saying “Who else?” is premature and a baseless argument.
BTW - I’m not against Sarah, I’m for winning.
“Reagan for me...”
Reagan didn’t quit.
Palin connects with Americans in a way that speaks volumes.
I believe one of her greatest strengths is being a Washington DC outsider and refusing to acquiesce to them and their political ways.
BTW - What scares me a little bit is this “annointing” of Sarah, it reminds me of the what the left wingers did with Obama. My concern is her supporters will effectively beat down and drown out any legitimate criticism or objective analysis of her and her eventual opponents (like they do now on FR) making her nomination a foregone conclusion.
And as I said, I have great concerns that she can win a general election.
“Palin connects with Americans in a way that speaks volumes.”
Palin connects with a certain demographic of republican and conservative voters because she says all the things they want to hear. She has already demonstrated she doesn’t have what it takes for the gritty, nasty day to day politics that makes up governing.
After quitting, what makes you think the independent and swing voters that she will need to win will think any different about her?
Sure, she can win the nomination, but I have doubts about a general election.
Palin is a retail politics natural genius. She's better on the stump than Obama.
The left fears her.
The "moderate" wing of the GOP doesn't like her because she's not an Ivy-leaguer. However, THEY will get onboard once they realize she has coat tails.
However, I do hope she's spends some time studying the details of the varied policy decisions that she'll be called on to talk about.
What scares me is a Republican party that continues to push “moderates” who stand for nothing and are basically liberal-lites, more eager to compromise with Democrats than fight for Conservative pinciples.
This country is largely Conservative as poll after poll has shown. What is wrong with supporting candidates that believe in smaller government, lower taxes, drilling for our own resources and a strong military. Can’t all Republicans, most independents and many Democrats agree on those issues?
Palin is the ONLY presumed candidate that is currently FIGHTING and winning against the socialist onslaught. That speaks volumes to her ability as both a leader and a potential POTUS.
I haven’t annointed her either, but have been VERY disappointed in 95% of the so-called conservative Republicans out there.
Neither is Palin.
852,000 fans as of today...
But, it'll hurt.
The guy she is going to run against if she wins the Repiublican nomination, 0bama, is not doing so hot with independents right now either.
read this:
******** “CNN Poll: Independents disapprove of Obama (0bmam tanks in another MSM poll!)
WASHINGTON (CNN) A majority of independent voters disapprove of how Barack Obama’s handling his job as president, according to a new national poll.
Fifty-three percent of independents questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Tuesday say they disapprove of how Obama’s handling his duties in the White House, with 43 percent in approval. That result marks the first time in a CNN poll that a majority of independents give the president's performance a thumbs-down”********

At the rate 0bama is falling in the poll's it sure don't look to me like he is gonna be having any advantage over Sarah Paplin come 2012 with independents. Not to mention, the radical, hard line left wing agenda of 0bama, his extreme left win Czars, and his massive spending spree, is only going to drive the country along with independents to the right, which means Sarah Palin is going to be doing better and better with independents the more left wing 0bama gets. That happens in the political system of any country you care to look at.
Extreme left wing regimes almost always drive voters to the right, and the one that is going to benefit most from the movement to the right is Sarah Palin
Personally, I think Sarah Palin is going to have far less trouble stepping up her game and fixing her problems than any of her likely opponents down the road. I could be horribly, horribly wrong. But looking at her and then looking at the field, I don’t think so.
I disagree with the Palinstas worship of Palin, but here is where I disagree with you.
I think like other politicians, she will hire the brass knuckle thugs that she needs to have (she just does not have them yet) to do the dirty work.
I don't think quitting has hurt her too badly
And I think Caribou Barbie (or Romney or Huckabee) would kick the crap out of Obama in a general election.
