Theres a false argument floating around which goes something like this:
We should not discriminate against non-natural born citizens by taking away their right to be President since all citizens have equal civil rights.
The problem with that argument is that Presidential eligibility is not a protected civil right guaranteed by the Constitution to any citizen. In fact, not all natural born citizens can be President. Only those who are 35 years old and have been US residents for 14 years can be President.
If being eligible to be President was a protected civil right, it would require Constitutional protection across the board to all citizens. We couldnt legally enforce the 35 year age requirement to be President since that would discriminate against all citizens 34 years old and younger.
After all, 34 year old citizens are not supposed to have less civil rights than 35 year old citizens.
QUESTION: Why has the 35 year POTUS eligibility requirement been free from attack all these years and election cycles?
ANSWER: To be President and Commander In Chief is not a protected right of citizenship.

Does this mean that they are now ready to admit that he is NOT a natural born citizen?
QUESTION: Why has the 35 year POTUS eligibility requirement been free from attack all these years and election cycles?
ANSWER: Because until Pres_ _ent Obama no one had clue
how necessary natural citizenship was for the health,
welfare and security of America and Americans.
I have a bigger problem with the reprecussions we’re seeing of his having spent so many of his formative years outside the US and not having the background of American culture, i.e. of putting baseball cards on your bicycle spokes when you’re 8 to ride in the local Flag Day parade, of having grown up in Indonesia and Pakistan and not developing an affinity for America as a young person. He didn’t grow up with a personal connection with American culture.
We’re definitely seeing his Kenyan influence in his disdain for our British allies.
I think that what is happening is that all of America is coming to the realization that Obama is a fraud. That he is hiding his birth certificate because it proves he is not Constitutionally qualified. As the arguments go on, back and forth, up and down, this truth grows more, and more and more obvious. It’s just THERE. And everyone sees it, plain as day. Because there simply is NO reason not to release his long form except that it disqualifies him, and everyone knows it. It is the ultimate turd in the punchbowl, and it’s really starting to stink, even for people way over on the other side of the room who refuse to look at it. And it’s not going away, because it CAN’T go away. - there’s nowhere for it to go.
In fact, it’s the third-rail, elephant-in-the-living-room, turd-in-the-punchbowl. Touch it and die. Ignore it and die.
And we’re supposed to believe no one - NO ONE - knew about this before the guy was elected, or during the certification process?
Yeah, right. And if you believe that, I’ve got a thousand-page unread healthcare bill for you to swallow, too.
If we lose it, we could very well see a president Soros.
That's what we're seeing at present.
0b0z0 is not much more than a racist teleprompter reading satanic finger puppet.
He's got more than just bringing down America as his goal.
It's global!
But the more important lesson is that there is legal and illegal discrimination under the Constitution, and all throughout the law. For instance, requiring a medical degree and license to operate on people is discriminatory, right? But only hard core Libertarians disagree with the concept. Fine, let them take the risk...but discrimination based on capabilities, among other things, is legal.
The Constitutional discrimination based on qualifications of birth and citizenship status may be open for debate by the Congress, but not the courts.
And a larger point is that this is where "civil rights" has taken us. Is it a civil right to walk into the United States?
Or a civil right for any one who happens to walk in to vote?
If so, can 100 million Chinese simply emigrate tomorrow morning and go on shore on demand, and then vote one of their own into power?
This is where the open ended assertion of civil rights have taken us: to the abolition of the nation and its laws.
A classic example of ‘reductio ad absurdum’ in logic.
It’s time to take back the country.
And it starts by forcing the Usurper to prove his suitability. He may prevail, but the process itself will be the important point. So far, he has managed to short circuit the process. At a minimum, he's probably guilty of perjury, since his long form probably has something he's lied about.
Recall what happened to the last guy in that office caught doing that...
Thanks for the reference, I looked him up. I didn't know that story.
“FREE THE LONG FORM!”
I wish that was true, but I'm afraid you are wrong!
52% of Americans think that he can walk on water, still!!
Through many discussions with strangers that is NOT a winning battle. Just look at the town hall meetings where the Calvary of Acorn and Unions are commandeered out to act as steamroller!!!
They still like him personally, but they are turning in large numbers against his policies.
It does look like they are beginning to recognize his words to be false and his promises empty.
Priceless
And thru ALL the media hype, the distraction, the attacks, the innuendo, is the population that simply says, in a calm manner:
Mr. Obama, please provide us with a certified copy of your long form Birth Certificate, and release the information on your school records and other pertinent documentation, that will, once and for all, clear up this controversy, and allow the country to move on in a committed and cohesive manner
This is not much to ask of the sitting President of the United States. Unless there is something to hide.
Things reach a critical point of resistance before they collapse. I don't mean everyone is actively protesting him. What I mean is no one can ignore the existence of the issue anymore, and everyone knows what it means. The steamroller response is because of this - it is desperation.
