The MSM and much of the Beltway establishment - GOP and Dem - has declared war on the "Birthers", but most of the latter group isn't fighting back in an effective way. That's unfortunate, since this is a golden opportunity to discredit the MSM due to all their lies and misleading statements about this issue. (If you don't understand the impact the MSM has on millions of Americans or you don't want to discredit them or you aren't willing to do a little work to discredit them, feel free to move on to the next thread.)
The way to discredit them is easy to state: tell the truth and at the same time show others how a specific reporter isn't telling the truth. Obviously, it's a lot more difficult in practice, but it's hardly impossible.
For a specific example, see this post from yesterday. In that post, I attempted to show how Howard Kurtz was misleading his viewers. And, I designed that post in such a way that others would be able to find it: it's currently in the first page of Google search results for his name plus the name of his show. Unfortunately, on that thread I didn't exactly get the backup I was looking for, such as replies offering other examples of Kurtz being misleading. Instead, I got an embarrassing graphic, someone playing the stock "red herring" card, and someone else criticizing my use of the phrase "not so much" (?!). None of those exactly help my attempts to show others - not just those who are members of this site - that he's wrong.
For a current example of what you can do, please watch this video about Howard Kurtz. If it gets enough views initially, it might make one of Youtube's lists-of-the-day and get even more. And, if it gets high enough ratings and enough views, it might turn up near the top of Youtube search results for his name. Also, please use the email addresses in the video description to contact his editors and let them know you know. And, for extra credit, Digg my post about this here and Reddit it here.
The goal of all of the above is to make him realize that his credibility is on the line and that he needs to issue a correction. If we can get a media figure like him to issue a correction, that would not only take the wind out of the MSM's sails, but it might force them to start doing real reporting.
Since that should be so easy, I find it strange that one of his relatives cannot be found who will help. If Hawaii denies the request, then we could check the “Obama Sr was not his father” column.

The best way to strike back is to keep correcting them. They hate to be corrected. Every time they say that Obama is a “citizen” and thus qualified to be President, then correct them with “but is he a natural born citizen as the Constitution requires? Was he born of two American parents on American soil?”. Make them think and their little brains will implode —
You make an excellent point. Too little is made of the other leg of the natural born citizen requirement that both parents have to be American citizens, just as Obama and 97 other Senators acknowledged when they signed onto Senate Resolution 511. Since his father was a foreign national, any hopes he might have from any bc forgery are futile.

We can’t take his word for anything. This man is a proven inveterate sociopathic liar. We must have documentation that legally establishes who the man’s bio dad is. He may have been trying to create a romantic myth of an African father that might be more compelling than say a Hawaiin Communist.
The man has REPEATEDLY lied about his genealogy.
He lied About how his parents met and conceived him, he lied about his grandfather liberating Auschwitz, he lied about his father being part of an airlift from Africa paid for by the Kennedys, he lied about his father’s religious upbringing, and he lied about how he met his wife.
Why does anyone think that he wouldn’t lie about something that might get him kicked out of the presidency?????

Also a NBC must be born on US soil. The original BC would show that or not.
That Obama senior, a Kenyan/British national, was his legal father is fixed in stone and law and testified to by Obama himself. He has been using his name as his son for too many years now for him to turn around and try to deny it. Every time he signs his name he reinforces the fact that he is the son of a foreign national and thus not qulaified to be CIC.
I suspect that Hussein Sr is probably his legal father. We know that there is a legal DIVORCE decree. But that divorce does not negate the fact that the BC might name someone ELSE as the sperm donor.

I agree with your assessment of 0.
But pushing the NBC issue based on what 0BAMA (or his supporters) posted on the internet (certification of live birth showing a non-citizen father) makes 0BAMA have to produce the BC to prove he’s natural born. If his father is someone different than what he’s written (say - Frank Davis Marshall), 0BAMA’S the one who then exposes it. At that point, 0BAMA’s the one putting the lie to everything he’s written just so he can remain President.
It may be a subtle point. I think getting the Supreme Court to define NBC makes 0bama try to prove he is a NBC, rather than those “crazy” “birthers” trying to prove he’s not. It’s late after a long day, so I’m not really sure there is a difference in approach.

I had made up my mind until I heard Coulter speak and she put a dent in my decision about this. See...I keep an open mind to facts and opinions from other people who may know more than me about a particular subject to satisfy my own questions in issues like this one. I think you need to OPEN your mind instead of being a total block head..... and keep your ignorant unwarranted comments to yourself.
