Progressives now say US Born requirement for Presidency should be abolished

All of a sudden, the issue of concientious objecter Major Stefan Cook has thrust the Obama birth certificate issue into the national limelight. It’s moved from so-called “fringe” blogs and news websites such as World Net Daily, Free Republic, Gateway Pundit, Atlas Shrugs and Libertarian Republican, into the mainstream media. On Monday Fox News did a segment on it for their 5:00 pm News Hour. CNN’s Lou Dobbs covered the story yesterday. And even CBS and the LA Times have done articles on it.
And today, another Big Enchillada of the Liberal Media: National Public Radio.

There’s also a bill gathering some support in the House that would change election law to require candidates to prove their citizenship.
And then something rather odd happens. The NPR editorialist Joshua Keating takes an entirely new tact.

“Let’s imagine that Barack Obama had been born in Indonesia or Kenya or anywhere else for that matter, and hadn’t become a citizen until moving to Hawaii to live with his grandparents. Is there one good reason why that would make him less fit to be president?”

More soldiers need to do what Cook did. They risk a lot but less than what they risk in Afghanistan which has been a tribal country for 1,000+ years and will never change.

LOL! Most of the “journalists” and journalism schools spew out illiterates who are good at spewing the communist party line.
The sinking local paper has illegal aliens or recent “immigrants” writing the local news stories with cursory proof reading by some lib editor. Most of the time the stories when you read them make no sense.
Why don’t the lamestreams push relentlessly for the Zero to release his long form birth certificate and all the personal, educational, and medical records other presidents have released while still candidates? If Zero would do that, the “birthers” would have nothing further to talk about. So why doesn’t he do it? That is what everybody interested in this issue would like to know, and you would think the lamestream so-called journalists, Medved, Bennett, Hewitt, et al. would too.

You’ll hear a lot of back tracking likely but the cat is out of the bag. This thing is going to watergate porportions by the fall.
Well that would take a constutional amendment to change and I doubt if more than 10 states would pass something like that since it is such a fundamental thing for America. BTW even if it did pass it would NOT be retroactive.
Gee, I guess the ‘progressives’ must be worried that more of other folks’ children will be unwilling to go to war to the ‘progressives’ won’t have to. Until the legality is settled.
I’ve said for months that this would happen. They’ll call the founding fathers slave owning racists and say there’s no reason why a foreign born shouldn’t be allowed to be President. This is just so predictable.
It’s as predictable as throwing the race card out there to explain Obama’s utter disaster of a Presidency. That’s coming soon.
