No need to split hairs here, but if the states are indeed sovereign, they don’t need to invoke the 10th amendment to prove it. They can come out and say it, like our forefathers came out to Great Britain.

The resolution “claims sovereignty for the state under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.” Can someone please explain WHY states need to pass resolutions for amendments ALREADY IN THE CONSTITUTION?

Alaska joins Tennessee as the second to have such a resolution signed by the Governor. Good Job Sarah! And good job, Governor Bredeson of Tennessee. He's a "D" but he is decidedly much better than the vast majority in his party. He actually has been a pretty good governor.
