Am I an old fart or am I right to be pissed that some jackass is skateboarding down the halls of the White House while all this Iranian shit is going down?
We truly have succumbed to the idiocy of the MTV/Mountain Dew/Road Rules backward hat and baggy short culture. Did I miss something, or is the White House the future set for the next Real World? Where are the wallet chains? Is Hot Topic handling our foreign policy? Obama should be grounded for a week for letting Tony Hawk play in OUR house. Where in hell are the adults?
Look: Tony Hawk is in his mid forties. He's a grown man...and he skateboards. Could you imagine your dad or anyone who lived during World War II treating a man who skateboards with anything less than scorn and ridicule?
Right now, people are risking their lives for the glimmer of freedom, and Tony Hawk is in the White House tweeting about Frosted Flakes.
Someone please dig up Reagan. I'd take a dead leader with balls over a living camp counselor who wants all the cool kids to like him.
What a screaming joke.

I just walked into the den and saw Shep Smith interviewing someone. IS IT MY IMAGINATION OR DID HE DYE HIS HAIR TODAY WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE JET-BLACK LIQUID SHOE POLISH?
They left when G.W. and Laura left.
such a lack of respect. I like it when the President wears a suit in the Oval Office as well...
During the Carter administration, one section of Interior Dept use to have evening wine and popcorn parties. Talking to the cleaning lady the next day, she was PO’d for the mess that was left. The dignity of the office was lost then as it is now.
I remember reading when the elder Bush attended one of the younger Bush’s meetings early on one of the staffers sitting in (it was a weekend) on a briefing was wearing shorts, basically casual clothes while all the others were wearing suits & ties. The elder castigated the staffer about his clothing and the staffer learned to put on suits & ties. That showed dignity.
Its wrong, but I’d hit it.
I hope that guys skates hit a chicken bone or watermellon seed on the floor and crashed and busted his a$$.
I saw him, too, he looks strange, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Is he also using botox?!?!
Not to excuse the droopy pants crowd, but worse went on during the Clinton regime.
Well, WTF! We had to get some Third-World African illegally occupying the White House to do it!
Well, if you’re an old fart, then I must be one, too! AND a pissed off old fart at that! How disrespectful!!!! Sickening!
OMG...you are right! He is such a mental case.My granddaughter and I tune in on his 2pm show and we say in unison..”How high is Shep today?”He never fails to amuse(disgust) us.
It’s the modern day version of the Roman Bread & Circuses routine.
This juvenile act of vandalism was done with the full permission of the Obamas.
Hmmm...I wonder if Hawks wanted to skateboard through a mosque,
if Obama would have given him full permission ??
The Obamas treat the White House like it’s an outhouse.
With these two, it’s always one giant middle finger to Americans.
I am disgusted by this as well. Ronald Reagan would not go into the Oval Office without a suit coat and tie on. He would turn in his grave if he could witness this. It’s disgraceful.
The skateboarding was an “in your face” gesture demonstrating 1) Obama, his handlers, and the Dems can do whatever they like with the White House, thank you, and 2) the age of reverence for America is so over, Dudes. —But this picture can come back to haunt them all later as iconic of this era, if we are attacked, for instance. This idiotic picture needs to be saved to hard drive; it could become quite useful in time.
(Not to excuse the droopy pants crowd, but worse went on during the Clinton regime.)
This one is IN YOUR FACE!
