How many trillion smackers did it take for this little pearl of wisdom to dawn on Joe Sixpack?

I don’t mean you, Freeper Joe Sixpack.

The old "better late than never" is now more like "hope the zombies are awakening fast enough before it's TOO late"

With Acorn in charge of the census, I have little hope for a fair midterm election.

...of course, most polls show people can’t tell the difference between Republicans and Democrats anyway...

Amazing how a little thing like destroying our economy and putting our country and all future generations into insurmountable debt can turn things around.

"With Acorn in charge of the census, I have little hope for a fair midterm election."

We can always pray for a REAL "Great Awakening": Every time someone identifies themselves with ACORN they're responded to like a beardless man under the Taliban.

Make it so scary for their "workers", to use that term very loosely, that they have trouble finding co-conspirators to ensure keeping the fix in for Democrats.

Not to mention health care that has built into it planned obsolescence of our children and grandchildren.

And then, there still will be: the illegal immigrant voters...and the criminal voters...and the politically ignorant voters...and the politically stupid voters...and the “government dependent” voters. Possibly, at some point in the future, no more elections. This country will probably be screwed for a very long time, but I really want to be proven wrong about all of this.

Whoop de doo! I am so sick of the public with their political A.D.D. I don’t feel the least bit sorry for them, may they reap what they sow. I have planned and saved so me and mine will be ok. I will help like minded patriots but I will no longer shoulder the burden of the lazy, fat, ignorant masses.

Everything we said would happen before the election is now happening. The most notable is the world apology tour but coming a close second is really showing how a drunken sailor can spend.

I want W back.

That is how we got in this mess in the first place. What we really want is a conservative party with an agenda for what they are going to do, like Newt's contract with America, updated, and put together by a party that is going to execute it rather than wallow in the pork they inherit when they get control like last time around.

Ideas include massive deregulation, tax system reform and IRS streamlining/disestablishment, legal system reform (popularly called tort reform, but there is a lot more), take back not only the TARP money from GS, but the AIG bailout money as well, make health care a market driven operation. Basically deconstruct the nanny state.

Congress legislates the laws and determines how to spend the money. The president can only veto what he doesn't like or lobby congress for changes to meet his agenda.

When you get a bunch of jerk-offs in congress it doesn't matter much what he does except when he goes on a world aplogy tour. At least W gave the muzzies and the euroweenies the finger.

Doesn’t mean a thing until election day. With control of all three parts of the government, polls are something the RATs really don’t need to worry about.
