PRESIDENT Obama is attacking a red herring when he defends his decision to send the worst terrorists at Guantanamo to United States prisons by saying the likelihood of escape from secure federal facilities is very low.
Of course it is. No rope ladder or prison laundry truck is likely to do the trick.

When Dick Morris makes sense to me, I KNOW my world has totally turned upside down...
Dick Morris nailed it in this article. It's not the prison security; it's the liberal judges releasing the terrorists we have to worry about.
Michael Medved also raised a good point. Say these terrorists are convicted and sent to federal prison. A maximum security pen is a great recruiting ground for new terrorists.
“A maximum security pen is a great recruiting ground for new terrorists.”
Exactly. The four just arrested in NYC in the thwarted bombing plot learned all they needed to know in prison and/or from former prisoners and PRISON CHAPLAINS! Eeeek!
Wisconsin has a SuperMax prison. You’re in your cell 23 hours a day, no contact with anyone. You can shower and exercise for that one remaining hour, then back in the can by your own lonesome self.
If they want to send them here under those circumstances, I’m all for it. Additional jobs and money for my state.
BUT, even the SuperMax prisons are sued on a regular basis for cruel and unusual punishment, usually when one of the cretins finally offs himself and saves us Taxpayers $75K a year for feeding and housing his sorry butt.
Legal groups should start tallying charges against this administration for the day when patriots are back in Washington.
If they ever do leave the socialist paradise of Cuba I’d send them all to an unknown underground place. Tell them lies about where Mecca actually is and make sure the only meat they ever get is pork.
They won’t have to escape. They will all have been released within a year, two tops by liberal America-hating lawyers and leftist judges. Since I happen to live distressingly close to where they will probably be housed (temporarily)... I’m buying more firearms and ammunition, sooner rather than later. Defending my life and the lives of my family is obviously up to me, the govt. is playing for the other team.
