(Washington, DC, 5/18/09) Falling under increasing criticism for inadvertently disclosing the location of the secret bunker used by former Vice President Cheney, as well as himself, current Vice President Joe Biden issued an apology today as well as a promise to not disclose the location of the new bunker to be built.
“I want to apologize to anyone who was offended by my completely inadvertent disclosure of the location of the secret VP bunker. It was not my intent to make this information public, but it was something that simply slipped out. Unfortunately we must now allocate $850 million for construction of a new one, but I promise I won’t disclose the location near downtown Paducah, Ky. so pay no attention to any new construction projects for a motel which may occur in that fine city just to the south of downtown. By ignoring this construction project, we will be able to keep its location a secret.”

So God forbid, another Sept. 11th type attack happens, and Joe would be the Veep who is in the secured location.
What would the reaction have been if a Republican had revealed a secret such as this?
Maybe next up, he can disclose the exact locations of the Secret Service and other security when the president travels. Maybe he can tell us the types of armor on the presidential motorcade cars. There’s lots he can tell the world that will cause us trouble.
I’m sure taxpayers really will get to buy a new one since he opened his big mouth. If it was up to me, I would release all the rest of the info about the current one- since he surely wouldn’t mind- and no new one would be built until he is no longer V.P. Maybe he is just one tough SOB and doesn’t care if every bad guy in the world knows his hiding location. He can just lure them in and take them out, right?
And we’re not even at 150 days yet.............

I don’t think that this was an “inadvertent” slip. I think it was Rimshot Joe’s way of telling us that he is relevant and has been told some “secret stuff.”
