We get letters:
Bet you $100 you see almost no media coverage on this one SCC. Today's Cinco de Mayo festival in the 010th District was a complete f@#$ up. Gang fight after gang fight. Out of towners stabbed, roving gangs of teens and young adults beating the crap out of each other, chains, bottles, emergency assists one after the other. If they canceled the southside Irish parade after the 50 arrests, there's no way they shouldn't cancel this disaster. I can't wait to see what Humbolt Park looks like in a few weeks. My tact team is detailed there next! And we got another e-mail saying the Polish parade up north wasn't a nice time again with Belmont Avenue shut down at one point and crime scene tape up all over. Anyone have info on that?

Missing 1 Zero!
Chicago is 2000 police officers short on the street. And the Chicago Police officers have worked without a contract since 2007.
Cinco de Mayo event shut down at Fair Park
Sounds a lot like what happened at Woodstock.
They have plenty of money for their cronies. Obamaville.
The information to take from all this is how ineffective our authorities are when having to respond to what are relatively small uprisings. First, as a warning to all of us as to how easy it would be for these anti-American types to create a mess. But second, and perhaps more importantly, to illustrate to all of us the ineffective levels of resistance we face if/when it becomes time for us to do the same.

Searching for my lost country and more"
Cinco de Mayo remembers a great disaster nearly 100 years ago.
With the growth of international shipping as a relatively fast & efficient transport medium, our southern neighbors became intrigued with a white, oddly bland yet desirable paste-like sauce which needed refrigeration. A particularly large shipment, greatly anticipated, was raced across the Atlantic on the Titanic. We all know what happened to that ship on that trip, the loss of the cargo was mourned, and a holiday was established to commemorate the Cinco de Mayo.
When you have millions of unassimilated Mexicans (and a few others) swarming across the nation, what do you expect? Why shouldn’t they run roughshod over a nation lying supine before them?
And what’s the big deal about celebrating defeating the French? I mean who HASN’T defeated the French?
Maybe they could celebrate Quatro del Julio?
Society is now like the GOP, no membership requirements at all!
Yes, they were in quite a pickle that day, and suffered a onionmaginable tragedy upon their ship’s failure to ketchup to an iceberg. Lettuce pray for these lost souls and mustard the strength to triumph over the sauce of our woes, in Cheese’s name.
LOL! you win.
I cant figure why we put on public parades and pronouncments over a forieng nations holiday, a nation that does NOT have American values. a natin that seems hell bent on dumping its self made probelms (unemployment , wrecked economy) on this great nation.
to hell with mexico and its dam holiday. they would have done better under french rule. I know thats cold, but it is true.
Ping!
Just thinking (look out!) - when the media purposely ignores these riots the illegals don’t get press. Each and every one of these incidents must be noted and saved by those of us on cell phones and such for when the media DOES pay attention to illegals’ activities so we can hold it up and ask “where were you when THIS happened? Are you a journalist or a tool?”
Please have a friend recording the “journalist’s” reaction with their own recording device. We have to use modern technology to fight those using it and their dying lock on the news against us.
If we don’t learn to use the technology we have at the tips of our fingertips the liberals will beat us through sheer manipulation of information.

Hardly an Angel
We really wish people would do some research before going out on a limb:
*
Police on Monday are asking for the public’s help for information in the brutal murder of a 15-year-old CPS student found burned and shot in a South Side gangway Saturday afternoon.
Alex Arellano, of the 8900 block of South Escanaba, was found badly burned with severe head wounds, according to the Cook County Medical Examiners office. He was found dead in the 3000 block of West 54th St., about 11 miles from his home.
[...] Police said Arellano had no criminal history and was not affiliated with a gang.
Because someone is liable to come along with a saw:
He’s even wearing the same freaking t-shirt! Call us naive, but that sure looks like he’s broadcasting some sort of gang affiliation. Are those “bunny ears” he’s throwing up? And the left hand disrespecting who? This was a simple MySpace search by a few readers and forwarded to us.
Granted, very few people deserve to get beaten, shot and burned like this kid was, but he wasn’t some innocent child murdered out of the blue. He hadn’t been to school since September 2008, didn’t look like he was going to school any time soon, was running around a war zone eleven miles from home and represents on a social networking site.
Someone from News Affairs want to make a retraction about what this kid was about?
UPDATE: We guess someone doesn’t want the website and the pictures of him throwing up for the nation to interfere with the “altar boy” image, so they took down the web page. Good thing we saved the photo in time.
