As a Texan I want y’all to know that Perry is despised by many of us for being a RINO.

He is not a conservative. He jumped out and supported Rudy very early and then piled in the John “Wayne” McCain boat when he realized Rudy’s boat had no fuel.

I will be tempted to move to Texas, too. I do hope that other states will follow Texas's example. The question is whether or not the statists in Washington will allow Texas to secede. An independent and properous Texas would be the libs worst nightmare. Remember, all that the statists want is power. Forget the rule of law or the Constitution. Look at a map. Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, the Dakotas. Throw in like minded states Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

With no welfare payments to parasitical urban areas, vast cheap energy resources of shale oil, coal and natural gas, the new country is an energy colossus. Cheap energy and unhindered non union labor translates to prosperity and wealth.

What would the energy poor states of the midwest, the west and the east do?
