Actually, we have the option of dividing into four more states. 10 Senators, not 8.

Not without consent of Congress, per Article IV. Like the Democrats are going to let that happen.

Texas Can Secede if it wants to as well.

Telling Texas it can't secede is like asking your employee if you can fire him

Secussion is a States right issue not a federal one.
