Carrie Prejean, whose now famous answer on homosexual unions cost her the Miss USA crown, apparently has the power to inspire murderous fantasies from the powerful. Something very odd is afoot in the culture (and not just American culture), when an opinion shared by a majority of voters in most states inspires worldwide rage. The following comes from a senior Tory MP:
Mr Duncan, who had earlier in the show revealed his ambition to become Home Secretary, was discussing American Beauty Queen Carrie Prejean's belief that same sex marriages were wrong.
And the MP called her a "silly b***h" and said "If you read that Miss California is murdered you will know it was me".
I don't expect much from a blogger who names himself after a vacuous celebrity nonentity. But Mr. Duncan is apparently a serious man who may someday hold serious power (God forbid!).
The intensity of the hatred from one side of the debate seems to be an important phenomenon to understand. It seems clear evidence of some kind of mass derangement. It is one thing to care passionately about the issues. It is quite something else to publicly express murderous intentions toward those on the other side of the debate.

Was this PM sincere or sarcastic?
Do these idiots know that Barack Obama gave the same answer as Miss California. You really have to be brain-dead to be a liberal these days.
And the MP called her a “silly b***h” and said “If you read that Miss California is murdered you will know it was me”.
Sounds to me as if this mets the terroristic threat charge. The stupid bastard should be arrested.
Sometimes I wish these damn politicians would just shut up. This is one of them. I don’t care what a Tory MP thinks of Carrie Prejean, or of gay marraige, for that matter.
Right is wrong is right.
Why is this call to violence even vaguely acceptable?
I am sure this was a total setup to take her down.
She managed to get that in at the last minute on an interview a couple of days ago but they ignored her.
there is a reasonable case to be made that since beauty is in the eye of the beholder
and therefor profoundly interested—whereas homosexuals are profoundly disinterested and these are after all heterosexual women-why is it appropriate for homosexuals to be judging a heterosexual beauty contest.
The question needs to be asked and re-asked:
Just why is a typical female-hating FAGGIE judging a women’s beauty contest?
Am I missing something here?
Please watch 52 episodes of Sex in the City and then come back and ask that question.
Yes, where’s the outrage against Zero?
LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER!

I hope the secret service is taking note of this. people that have expressed the same opinion that Obama has expressed are being threatened. I can only assume that Obama himself is also being threatened by these parties for expressing this opinion. This is exactly the type of threat that the SS is supposed to investigate and protect against.
It's not Miss America - it's Miss USA.
Just the fact that fashion models (which is what pageant participant are auditioning for) are attended to by gay men who style their hair, do their makeup, and design the clothes that they walk down the runway in.
That said, Mr. "Look At Me, Look At Me" was there to figure out which of the bimbos was religious, and would raise him from near obscurity to well-known gay rights crusader overnight. One Mr. Donald Trump made this happen, and saw that it was good. For next year's ratings, at least.
It is not what is said that causes the government to prosecute. It is who says it and who it is being said to.
I.e., A Leftist could say anything that they wanted about President Bush and they never got as much as a dirty look from the government but if one had a bad thought about Bill Clinton one was visited by a government agent.
There are many people who know right from wrong, but lack the courage to stand against popular opinion.
John Rocker and Don Imus didn’t say anything nearly as bad as this.Where’s the media outrage over THIS?Isn’t THIS “hate speech”?
