When I broke the explosive exclusive last June that Obama's COLB (certificate of live birth) was a "horrible forgery," it took a couple of days, but the O-bots sent around this "birth announcement". That too apparently was a forgery.

Really? Then a number of posters have LIED here on FreeRepublic. See e.g.: Hospitals in Hawaii to Obama: You Were Not Born Here!. I have no way of knowing about the veracity of the folks who claim to have contacted hospitals in Honolulu, but they are out there. But I also have now way of knowing whether there are laws that prevent the hospitals from denying that certain people were inpatients there many years ago. I listen to competing claims and judge based upon the supposed evidence and the possible motive(s) of the people making one claim or another. Right now it seems to me that there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that Obama was not born in Hawaii. If you look carefully at my comments here at FR since this issue was first raised, you will find I've changed my mind a couple of times. I might do that again, but it's going to take more than words on a computer screen from some anonymous poster here to make that happen.

Exactly you are correct, but without a major league true journalist who is unbiased and has the credentials to cover something like this,a Polarik type,someone who obviously knows his stuff and goes unchallenged by all the trolls on FR and elsewhere, we will be guessing for a long time to come.

All that is available to me from factcheck is a jpeg; and it's an image of a document that probably isn't sufficient to obtain a US Passport. Factcheck is not an organization I trust. Let them send the original to a group like Accuracy in Media, and let AIM evaluate it. I trust the AIM folks.

And yes, he is President of the United States, but, as we are finding out, his skills are much better suited to becoming president than to being president.

You would be sure, just as you have been with the other smoke you've been posting here, but you would be WRONG. In NJ, a raised seal birth certificate (or current US passport) AND your current photo license that you are renewing are insufficient.

Well, let's see. His CoLB has the raised seal and is certified by Alvin T. Onaka, Phd. That's four points. His passport is another four. So, he gets his driver's license without even having to call up NJ ringmaster Corzine.

When my daughter was born, my aunt who lived several hundred miles away, put the birth announcement in her local newspaper. I didn’t learn about it until she sent the newspaper a few weeks later.

The poster is faithful to the latest Axelrod talking point ... ‘they’re letting the detractors/pests/birthers/opposition twist int he wind to discredit them at their leisure.’ The porblem with the talking point is that the longer this goes on the more obvious it is that barry soetoro is hiding a lot of things about his paqst. He had an army of lawyers and detectives traveling the world to cover his past. The n00b playing you is at least sticking faithfully to the Axelrod talking points.

DNA is pretty foolproof and should not be the end of the world to get from many sources even if it means digging up graves of dead relatives.

The birther argument is that because he was born in Mombasa (or maybe Canada or Indonesia) and his mother had not lived in the US for five years after the age of fourteen (or is it sixteen?), he is therefore not a natural born citizen and thus not eligible to be president. DNA would show that Stanley Ann Dunham and BHO, Sr. are his parents. It wouldn't reveal whether he was born in Honolulu or Mombasa.
