At a St. Patrick's day party at the White House on 03/17/09, Irish Prime minister Cowen was just a few lines into his speech when he stopped reading from the teleprompter and told Obama that he was reading the same speech that Obama had just read.
Obama took to the stage again to try to save the day, and when he reached the stage, the teleprompter switched to the correct speech for the prime minister. Barack Obama started reading the Irish Prime Minister's speech, and thanked himself for giving the St. Patrick's Day party at the White House, when he realized the mistake.
Perhaps it was the green beer that made the Irishman for the day, Barack O'bama unconscious to what he was reading.
Obama is not a great speaker, as his flunkies would have those who are gullible in America to believe. He is just a talking head like those who give the 6 o'clock news. If its not preprogrammed onto his teleprompters, he is at a loss for words.
Incredibly, Obama is so smooth at reading from a teleprompter and that he doesn't even know or comprehend what he is reading to the world. Hopefully, some prankster won't let Obama read from the teleprompter that the 101st Airborne landed just south of the Moscow city limits for maneuvers. Obviously, what's next is an embarrassing open mike moment, where Obama spontaneously says what he is really thinking.

Obama had time yesterday to spend time with Katz of ESPN discussing his picks, he was very conversant about stats and injuries,
and then he filled in his brackets, explaining his strategy with each pick.
Obviously, Barry has been studying intently.
Not the military or the wars or economics, but,college basketball.
He had no idea about the AIG bonuses which were discussed by Congress last fall.
Of which he was a part time member.
Obama then partied all day with green beer, “ green sparkling wine,”
a “ flowing open bar “ and Guinness.
And today he’s off to Leno.
I wonder if his teleprompter has a drinking problem,
because it obviously has a party problem.
Does his teleprompter still smoke, I wonder ?
I hope it hasn’t fallen back into using street drugs.

Actually, he is smart enough to know that he looks like a fool when he is off-teleprompter. And now he looks like a fool when he is ON teleprompter.
SNL could have a field day with a skit about a president who reads every single word off a teleprompter. I might even watch it, too.
Obama makes “W” look like a wizard, a genius and a scholar!
Kinda like the old Brezhnev joke where he yells at his speechwriter because he wanted a 10-minute speech but the speechwriter gave him a 20-minute speech. Speechwriter tells him he gave him the speech and a carbon copy “just in case” like he was ordered to.
Our country is being run by a teleprompter.

Should we rename Him “Obrompter”? It has a nice Irish sound to it.
It must be terrifying to realize the only way you can do your job is to have every word scripted.
