The truth about Scientology revealed in cartoon show, not by the news media

[mashup video. FRIGGIN' FANTASTIC!]

What does it say about the media when we get more truth from cartoons than from the news?

The sickness that is called moral relativism keeps the politically correct media from coming out and saying what’s pretty obvious to anyone with half a brain: Scientology is a crock.

It’s a wacky religion concocted by a science fiction writer with too much time on his hands. It’s one of the biggest scams in history. Right up there with the “stimulus” package.

Here’s a great mash-up of L. Ron Hubbard and a South Park episode. It combines the denials of a Scientology spokesman with South Park’s animated version of L. Ron Hubbard’s actual spoken words.

I must be one of the few non-Scientologists that believes that we have nothing to fear from this particular religion. As long as joining the religion is a voluntary act and they are not violent towards nonbelievers, I couldn't care less what they do.

Nothing to fear, unless one of your kids or friends gets sucked into it. Other than that, you’re right.

But it’s a crazy “religion” and it’s funnier than hell to hear about.

I never read celebrity books but I read a unauthorized biography on Tom Cruise last year to learn about the Scientology organization. Crazy!!!

You should do more research.

For starters, the IRS has violated the Constitution on behalf of Scientologists. They get a tax deduction that no one else can get.

Google Operation Snow White - the largest ever infiltration into the US Government..including the IRS, DOD and DOJ.

Compare what the spokeperson had to say in that interview with what he said in this one:

Yes, it was amusing...
Ironically, I’m tempted to watch that particular South Park episode now. ;)

We should go by a simple guideline: any religion which tries to grant fewer rights to its members than they have under the US Constitution is by definition an unethical, cult-like enterprise.

I read a soldier’s report about what he saw in an Afghanistan village. The women have to do everything. They look very old at a young age.

At least Scientologists do make some money.

However, if Sea Org members leave they are hit with a freeloader debt.

Ok. What is a Sea Org member and what is a freeloader debt? Is it enforced contractually?

The hellish depths of Scientology can’t be explained in one post. If you are interested - Google
but you can start with this article from an ex Sea Org member who escaped. Read the police report in the article about his escape from their clutches. Also,KESQ is going to be doing an interview this week with a woman who escaped and they are putting the interviews on their website.

http://glosslip.com/2009/02/26/blown-for-good-the-man-poised-to-bring-down-the-church-of-scientology/

The Sea Org has some of the most outrageous human rights violations and violations of labor laws. Back in Hubbards’ day..they would lock kids up in chain lockers on the ship to punish them..for weeks at a time.

Most people don’t know anything about Scientology other than it is a wacky religion. No harm no foul..freedom of religion and all of that. But if you start researching...you will find a much different story.

It pisses me off that the IRS gave them a secret deal in violation of the Establishment Clause and no one has been willing to do anything about it.

I appreciate your reply. I was just in Clearwater and saw the influence of Scientology there but I know very little about the "religion" except I am fully aware that it is a false religion but then I got to thinking that in my book, any religion except mine is a false religion. :)

I would like to take the time to learn a bit more about it.

Since you were in Clearwater you might want to check out the Lisa McPherson Story. I warn you, though, this link shows the autopsy photos during it’s presentation.

They are revolting.

http://theunfunnytruth.ytmnd.com/

However, it is a very effective and informative presentation. If you don’t want to see her autopsy photo you will have to close it down when they start showing the maps of the distance to various hospitals that they could have taken her to...but didn’t.

I wandered across this topic when Jett Travolta died. I was sickened by the things I discovered as I searched about this religion.
