It is NOT about secession or dissolving the union. It is about getting control of a lot of bad legislation from Washington on unfunded mandates. Some states are extending it to the second amendment.

The article said half of the states are considering legislation like this. HALF

Washington would have to sit up and take notice. This is going to make a difference.

You want to start over, you need to revise the "necessary and proper" clause, and the "interstate commerce clause" so that the fed's power is limited once again. Get rid of the income tax amendment, too, while you are at it, and the direct election of Senators. That would be a good start.

But first, you'd have to win the war with the communists.

You have to include the south in the "real" US, and the Oregon territory won't go willingly, but British Columbia would. We need ports on the Pacific.

Eventually, we'd get the entire US back, when the socialist states collapsed and begged to rejoin those who are following the Constitution. Our US would be a wealthy, free society just rubbing their noses in their stupidity. I don't think I'd want them back, myself, because they'd just go back to trying to tell us what to do.
