We don’t want it to be a cloud over Obama.
Really? Then drop it. Obama has produced a valid COLB from Hawaii. There are no credible doubts that Obama is a "natural born citizen." There's no mystery. He's a citizen. If you are so concerned with the truth, it's right there.

But this isn't about the truth or the Constitution. This is about people who've given up getting conservatives elected and just want to use the courts to manipulate the political process.

That's what they do. We are not them.

I was just thinking about an hour ago: these ‘nuisance’ suits will go on for some time because the SCOTUS can’t ‘do’ anything about them.

Don’t like these constitutional ‘nuisance’ suits?

Too bad.

Interesting that Dr. Chiyome Fukino said Hawaii has his original BC on file, she made a point of NOT saying where it said he was born.

As you well know Hawaii will issue a HAWAIIAN BC showing an HAWAIIAN place of birth to a foreign born child.

Stop peeing on us and then trying to convince us it’s raining.

So what are YOU doing on this thread, then? To quote Levin, "GET OFF THE 'THREAD', YOU BIG DOPE!"
Here's a radical idea: why don't we try to get Obama out of office by getting someone else elected in 2012? Let's rebuild the conservative base and surge to victory in 2012.

Or we can waste our time chasing the frivolous lawsuits, many filed by notorious nutjobs like Phil Berg and Andy Martin.

I don't know about you, but I like the "victory in 2012" plan a lot better. But yeah, you're right. I should leave you guys to play in your sandbox.

Also the first president-elect to withold his birth certificate since the founding!

But you knew that.

If you check a couple of pages of his comments, you can see what he’s like on every thread. I avoid Richard Craniums in real life, and here on FR. He’s a major Richard Cranium type.

Fair enough. You’re not going to stop this train, so I’d suggest getting on the train of your choice to your destination and stop hopping this one to complain about the fact that it’s not on the right track. The people on this train got on by choice and I doubt any pithy or rational comments from anyone, even if they ‘know it all’, are going to make any of them want to get off. Even if it’s a train to nowhere...

No, it isn’t. But then, you know that. And we can all see through your little ploy. Your obfuscation is obvious, sir. I will not waste a single ounce of effort debating the merits of this thread with you. If you are sick of these tinfoil types, I have a suggestion for you-—get the h*** off of the threads that deal with this issue. If we irritate you, then stop picking at the scab. If the case is closed, then for heaven’s sake, move on...there’s nothing to see here.

Oh, but wait. Then you couldn’t do what you are here to do, which is to obfuscate, detract and keep FReepers arguing with you, trying to convince you that you’re wrong and thus avoiding rational discussion about the issue and trying to make those of us who read and follow these threads look like looneys.

So what are YOU doing on this thread, then? To quote Levin, “GET OFF THE ‘THREAD’, YOU BIG DOPE!”

FReepers, please do not engage Mr. Know It All on this matter. His intent is to distract and when any of us try to reason and argue with him, he wins. “

obots are kind of silly pointless creatures, aren’t they?

“My SS number/card was issued several years after I was born, and in a different state.”

15 years after you were born?

I didn't get my SS# until I was 16 and old enough to work. This was in the '60s. I don't know when they started issuing SS#s at birth.

Yes, a mess! Anarchy might be another term, but I do think W and the Supremes are doing their best to restore order. Congress, on the other hand, has become synonymous for mess.

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN MAKE SENSE OF THIS DOUBLE TALK EXECUTIVE ORDER?

Astounding how people can look at the same wad of legalities and see different things at different times.

How do you account for these paragraphs from the order?:

Sec. 4. Reciprocal Recognition of Fitness and Suitability Determinations. (a) Except as provided by subsection (b) of this section, agencies making fitness determinations shall grant reciprocal recognition to a prior favorable fitness or suitability determination when:
//
(d) This order is intended only to improve the internal management of the executive branch and is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its agencies, instrumentalities, or entities, its officers, employees or agents, or any other person
In my first take, I agreed. From my second take, they are bastardizing the word "reciprocal" to mean referential to or recumbent upon the employee or contractor's first vetting.

Who knows? Maybe it's a lexicological hall of mirrors. With lawyers writing word-junk like this, is it any wonder that Citizens don't understand that they are the Sovereigns in this nation? -- and that intellectually self-made bastard lawyers and politicians create whatever meaning they wish, from law and the Constitution.

What in blazes is this pile of brown steaming verbiage?

I do not see how the word, “reciprocal” can possibly apply the way that Tatz, Keyes, Ritze, etc. want it to, granted the two segments of this E.O. that I cited in the post to which this “replies.” (To say nothing about how Keyes and the others can be complainants.)

SplainittomeLucy — please.

The only thing I see here is that Bush is hoping to prevent abusive investigations of executive staff, by referring investigators to the previous, valid investigations under his or previous administration, instead of new ones.

I see no droids that we are looking for.

“Reciprocity” Schmocity.

At the expense of self-referral as a “bastard lawyer” I would tend to agree with you, but you give most lawyers and politicians far too much credit. Only a few know what the laws they write really mean. The ones that do know control the game.

All she would have to do is make a phone call to Hawaii and within 24 hours she could have the long form in hand. I’m pretty sure they would not refuse HER request.
