The declaration was a founding document, not a formational document. the declaration stated our reasons for departing from the rule of the crown, not what kind of government we would have to replace the monarchy. It is the constitution that is our formational document that details how our republic is constituted.

If BO is saying that we need to declare independence from our republic and constitution then that is treason.
