I can tell you right now, I’m willing to go 10,000. to get a big lawsuit with thousands of people on it. Anytime they are ready. Count me in.

Actually, the money and lawyers have been to prevent any case from going to the discovery phase, since such would expose the fraudulent document he has used to scam hundreds of millions in campaign funds under false pretenses. Yes, I know you didn't, and I appreciate for you noting as such. I am also glad that you agreed to disagree. It should be possible to have a spirited debate without invoking any invectives as some people tend to do. I have probably endured more ad hominem attacks then even Berg has, but I take them in my stride. They can knock me all they want, but when they knock my work, then that's whne i take offense.

I'm a strong believer in Karma, that whatever comes around, goes around. I watch shows like DATELINE and 48 HOURS where what seem to be impossible cases are solved. In the information age we live in, it's getting harder and harder to keep a secret, especially if it is a big secret with lots of little secrets linked to it. This is what many FReepers are learning about not just Obama, but about all politicians, for there are no such things as having totally clean hands in politics: not when there is a quid pro quo system of rewarding supporters who did something to help put you in office.

There will always be lobbyists and special interest groups and individuals who expect a return on their investment. This is business as usual, and so far, neither candidate in this past election period has really changed this system.

The American public was promised transparency in government, so like others, I'm waiting to see happens this week and next.

Then well get a better idea of how transparent or opaque these Constitutional issues will become. Thanks again for the chat.

It is a basic principle of a common-law legal system that if something is not forbidden by law, it is allowed. If someone is a citizen from birth, 35 years old and has been a resident of the US for 14 years, then their other characterisics aren't relevant- they're qualified to be President.

First, common law is not Constitutional law. Second, it says natural born citizen, not citizen from birth. Third common law throws doubt onto whether Obama is a citizen at all.

"At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also."

Minor vs Happersett... Perkins vs Elg, the father was a citizen at the time...In Wong Kim Ark, a distinction is made between natural born citizens and citizens with parents who are both residents, living and working here. I do believe I've shown you this before.

For you to twist this around to mean that he might therefore be a natural born citizen is completely unreasonable, and to then take it to the Supreme Court is really a waste of time, as the answer is obvious. But, maybe if we're lucky, SCOTUS will define it once and for all, and maybe we can then start getting rid of disloyal socialists, communists, bankers, "philanthropic" foundations, and whomever else have been attacking this country since being formed.

Additionally, it is Obama who is making a claim that he is qualified, and has yet to provide proof he is even a citizen, let alone qualified for the presidency. One forged Certification of Live Birth posted online, in a state where one could be born elsewhere up to year (clarification of which is not shown on the certification), of a minor aged disloyal citizen mother who might not have been able to pass her citizenship even if relevant, of a father who isn't even a naturalized citizen, who did not take up residence here nor even try to become a US citizen, is not proof, and is more indicative of fraud than anything else.

And yet you take this to mean he is a natural born citizen. What country are you loyal to?

And amendments can be found to be unconstitutional, or declared null and void.

Yes there IS . . . and it's on my blog somewhere and I don't have time to find it. There is a % rule for people who wish to classify themselves by race. A person must have a great-grandparent who is a full-blood of that race/ethnicity to claim to be that race/ethnic group.

See, you've already subtly shifted the point of the argument. Still, even on this point, I have read the instructions for choosing the descriptions of one's race or ethnicity in federal forms: it is simply whichever race or ethnicity one considers himself to be.

The central problem for your hypothesis is that nowhere in the United States medical or legal system is there a means by which one is classified as this or that race (with the exception of so-called "native American" because of their usually dual citizenship status and now by them as a means of keeping others out of the portion of the, at least formerly, lucrative gaming industry open to "native" Americans; and there you actually have to demonstrate it). No one going into a hospital to give birth anywhere in this country, even 50 years ago, is questioned as to the relative percentages of racial mixture of one's parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents for the purpose of determining whether one is this or that race.

Somewhere on my weblog or perhaps at http://www.theobamafile.com there is a reference to percentages a person has to be to be legally called a black. I think it was used by blacks to "pass" for white if they were less than 1/8 black.

You're right about the Native Americans.

But what do we do with THIS information?
