It's time to revisit the nationality of Barack Obama. The senator's paternal grandmother says she was present in the delivery room at his birth-in Kenya. At least that is the claim of Pennsylvania lawyer Philip J. Berg.
To legally be president, one must be a natural born citizen of the United States of America. Being born in Kenya would not disqualify him, but some people would like to see his birth certificate.
This is not a partisan issue. The same question was asked of Sen. McCain, who was born in the Panama Canal Zone. He quelled the criticism by releasing his birth certificate. Americans are now calling on Sen. Obama to do the same thing. Frankly, they would like to see the hard copy.
Images of his birth certificate are floating around the Internet and they are problematic. One copy has a seal affixed, the other does not. The certificate number is blacked out. Why?
The senator and his half-sister both say he was born in Hawaii, only they can't agree on which hospital he was born in.
Attorney Philip Berg filed suit in Pennsylvania in October, requesting the court to force Sen. Obama to produce a birth certificate. Mr. Berg, a former deputy attorney general in Pennsylvania and Democratic county chairman, is a life-long Democrat. His ostensible purpose is to make sure the U.S. Constitution is not violated.
According to Berg, even if Mr. Obama was born in Hawaii, his stepfather later changed his citizenship to Indonesian. Berg bases this on the years the senator was enrolled in the Indonesian public school system as Barry Soetoro (his stepfather's surname).
In those days Indonesia was at war and only Indonesian citizens were allowed to enroll in public school. If the senator's citizenship was switched to Indonesian, and later switched back, he would then be referenced as a naturalized citizen. In that case, he would not be eligible to be president.
How could a person rise to the level of United States senator without ever producing adequate documentation? Remember that Mr. Obama rose through the ranks in Illinois, where politics and corruption go together like ham and eggs. Our previous governor was sent to prison; our sitting governor may well end up there, too.
Thomas Lifson, publisher of the "American Thinker" asks this probative question. "If he has it [birth certificate] why hasn't he released it? If he does release it, game over. So why drag this out on technical grounds? It doesn't make sense."
Sen. Obama is very stingy with any kind of paper trail. He was an honor student, but will not release his records from Occidental College, Columbia University, or Harvard Law School. Would such records shed light on his nation of origin?
His penchant for secrecy extends to his political campaign. He refuses to reveal the identity of 2 million small donors, which is legal. Still, a lot of people would like to see the demographics of his donor base.
The question is: Where there's smoke is there fire, or just a smokescreen?
Barack Obama said to George Stephanopoulos, "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. . ." on ABC's "This Week." The Obamas have an odd practice of not giving their daughters birthday gifts-birthday gifts are forbidden under Shariah law. Mr. Obama is not a stupid man. He misspoke and said there are 57 American states. There are 57 states in the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
The Obama camp will probably run out the clock on the birth certificate conundrum. Ultimately the truth will come out. It always does.
Otto von Bismarck once observed, "God has special providence for drunks, idiots and the United States of America." Now would be a good time for some of that special grace to manifest.

Accusing API of colluding with American internet bloggers in an effort to bring down her husband, Mrs Obama said she decided to call API because of what she termed, API’s help to spread rumours created by American bloggers and other racist media outlets in their efforts to damage a black man’s name, saying she hopes African Media was mature enough to be in the front to give unwavering support to her husband, a man Africans should identify themselves with.
When API told her that our online news media was only relaying what the American Bloggers and other media outlets had discovered through their investigations, Mrs Obama was angered and she came out loud with the following: “African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view,” and she went to state that, “it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.”
This is a very interesting turn of events. The American man Dr Corsi was recently reported to have been arrested in Kenya because there was fear that he might reveal information on Obama when he wanted to hold a press conference in Nairobi.
The question now is why he was arrested and who ordered his arrest. Was Obama’s hand in this in any way? We will never know the truth but what is clear is that Dr Corsi was seen as a threat while in Kenya.
When API asked Mrs Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.
When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.
On Farakhan and his ministry, Mrs Obama told API that it was unfortunate that Mr Farakhan came out the way he did supporting her husband openly before the elections was over. That was not wholehearted support but one that was calculated to convince the American people that my husband will support the growth of muslim faith if he became the president, adding “even if my husband was able to prove that he is not a Muslim, he will not be believed by those who have come out strongly to destroy his chances of being the next President. Do real people expect someone to deny a religion when 80 percent of his relatives are Muslims?; Mrs Obama asked.
Mrs Obama asked API to write a good story about her husband and that will earn API an invitation to the innoguration ceremony when, as she put it , her husband will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year.

OK but what happened to Corsi. I heard he had a lot of intel on Obama but..Nothing yet. The hour is getting late.

More and more inquiring minds want to know the answer to that question. There is only one reason I can imagine that someone in Obama’s position would work so hard to conceal their birth certificate, or lack thereof. That would be that whatever his B.O. reveals would make him ineligible to become President of the U.S.
Of course if one wants to wear a tightly made tinfoil hat...maybe he is a legal citizen but his birth certificate reveals that “he” is a “she”. heh heh

Barack Obama apparently wishes his two autobiographies to be the definitive record of his past. He has blocked efforts by others who wish to independently examine his past.
He won’t allow his transcript from his undergraduate days at Columbia University to be released.
He “lost” his thesis on Soviet nuclear policy (see “Where in the World is Obama’s Missing Thesis” which might provide insight regarding his seeming lack of knowledge about Soviet policy during the Kennedy years).
He won’t answer questions about his days at Harvard Law School.
He “lost” his Illinois Senate records.
He will only release a simple one-page letter from his doctor on his medical condition.
He won’t release his application to the state bar, which, as National Review’s Jim Geraghty notes raises questions about whether he told the truth about parking tickets and drug use, among other issues.
He won’t disclose list of his clients from his law firm days or the nature of the work he did for them as a lawyer (his clients include the indicted political fixer Tony Rezko).
He walks away from uncomfortable questions about Rezko at a news conference.
His cultists try to shut down inquiry into his stewardship of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge by sliming a journalist investigating his days at the helm of that group, which blew through $100 million dollars with no discernible benefit for the schools and students that it was putatively designed to help (what does the constitutional law lecturer say to the chilling of free speech by his acolytes?).
He tries to muddle his long-standing ties with Pastor Wright by producing a version of his attendance record at Trinity Church that is sharply at variance with previous versions he has given (”Obama Re-invents his Trinity Church History”).
The Wall Street Journal joins the battle over Obama’s past in today’s editorial (”Obama’s Lost Years”):
The Columbia years are a hole in the sprawling Obama hagiography. In his two published memoirs, the 47-year-old Democratic nominee barely mentions his experience there. He refuses to answer questions about Columbia and New York — which, in this media age, serves only to raise more of them. Why not release his Columbia transcript? Why has his senior essay gone missing? [....]
Voters and the media are now exercising due diligence before Election Day, and they are meeting resistance from Mr. Obama in checking his past. Earlier this year, the AP tracked down Mr. Obama’s New York-era roommate, “Sadik,” in Seattle after the campaign refused to reveal his name. Sohale Siddiqi, his real name, confirmed Mr. Obama’s account that he turned serious in New York and “stopped getting high.” “We were both very lost,” Mr. Siddiqi said. “We were both alienated, although he might not put it that way. He arrived disheveled and without a place to stay.” For some reason the Obama camp wanted this to stay out of public view.
What can be said with some certainty is that Mr. Obama lived off campus while at Columbia in 1981-83 and made few friends. Fox News contacted some 400 of his classmates and found no one who remembered him.
Barack Obama is the least-examined Presidential candidate in American history. Partly this may be due to the fact that he has a paper-thin resume and few accomplishments. However, he does have a record and past (he is, after all, approaching 50 years old). An informed electorate is the foundation of American democracy — a principle which Senator Obama has ignored. The mainstream media — with a few courageous exceptions (the pages of National Review, Weekly Standard, ABC News correspondent Jake Tapper) — have aided and abetted Barack Obama’s quest to change history retroactively by immunizing him from any serious examination. Meanwhile they send the journalistic equivalent of the dogs of war to create their own history of Governor Sarah Palin (notably by pulling journalists off the terrorism “beat” to cover Palin’s record in Alaska).
He accuses people who scrutiny his record of being engaged in distractions or pulls the race card out and slurs them as racists. At times, he has all but accused people who inquire about his record as being stupid. He imperiously declares some areas of his life as being “off limits”.
For a man who constantly trumpeted the importance of transparency he seems to be adverse from applying that principle to his own life. He owes the voters a clear accounting of his past.
Why have journalists allowed Barack Obama to avoid scrutiny? The media has been called the Fourth Estate for its crucial role in ensuring that democracy thrives. When journalists abdicate their role, we all suffer. What is Barack Obama afraid of regarding his past? What do journalist fear to find?
When they rely on Barack Obama’s version of his life to become their stories they become nothing more than campaign workers laboring away for free.
Come to think of it, this does not seem so far from the truth.
I heard Corsi is going to be on FOXNews this week on one of the evening shows, Hannity & Colmes?
Good I wanted to see what happened to him when Odinga had him booted out of Kenya. Amazing how the Democrats have been able to cover up Obamas past. McCain seems to me to be part of it from the start. He won’t even mention any of the good stuff we get on FR. They got me again. I voted McCain cause I am less scared than of Obama. I hate it.

Add to the "at least" column a list of the under $200 donors to his campaign.
The way I view the “public” face of the McCain-Palin campaign is you alaways have to remember that in order to acknowledge something that we dig up here on FR, talking about that kind of thing (because it’s usually fairly controversial), would alienate “undecideds” if the campaign isn;t careful. So..the result is the McCain-Palin campaign has to handle alot of info in “softball” fashion.
This will be the ninth presidential election I have cast a vote in. From where I sit, you voted the ONLY way our nation needed you to vote and the only vote God would be happy with you making.

As a constitutional law professor, no one knows better than Obama what his qualifications are.
I think he may be hiding a name change, too.
Does anyone recall that a Kennedy/Shriver asked the question, "Can a naturalized citizen become president?"
I assumed the person was asking about Arnold Schwarzenegger but because of Obama's reluctance to cough up his birth certificate, I'm skeptical.
And, it would be just like America's #1 crime family (who get away with everything even murder) to promote such a character as Obama.
