Fairfax County (Virginia) Registrar Rokey Suleman (D) is disallowing an estimated 90 percent of absentee ballots sent in by soldiers serving overseas.
The law prohibits military personnel from participating in political activities while in uniform, Suleman explained. Troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan are obviously in uniform. Thus, ballots received from these war zones must be disallowed.
Suleman distinguished between these ballots from overseas servicemen and women and those cast by military personnel within the US who could be assumed to have cast their ballots while off-duty and out of uniform.
Besides, these people arent likely to be well-informed on the issues, Suleman continued. Theyre outside the main lines of communication. They cant watch much TV. Theyre outside the delivery zone for newspapers published in this country. Theyve missed the big campaign events. Its best that they concentrate on doing their jobs and leave the political decision making to those who are closer to home.

Dang, man, your satire is just too true to be funny.
Good job.
I’d love to see that law. If its the Law then sobeit. If its an another attempt to disenfranchise shame on this woman.
I thought only Scrappleface had satire this good. Well done, sir.
I admit it, ya almost got me... ;^)
awwwwwe mannnnnnn
The problem with satire is that when it comes to the communists it’s almost impossible to tell if it’s satire or the truth!
IT would not surprise me if some demo-rat actually used this argument at some point in the future.
JoMa
Thsoe dirty low down.....
Almost got me :-)
Another good one
It's good satire if it's hard to tell it from non-satire.
One's tempted to proclaim the Left's attepts to disenfranchise the men and women of our armed forces to be the lowest and most evil depth to which it could possibly sink, but--no--Leftists always manage to sink even lower than anyone could possible have thought possible.
Ping!
The woman is insane!
Please add satire to the title. It helps separate it from news.
Oh darn another satire. I was ready with the OMFG post. lol.
This is a joke, right..otherwise MY blood is boiling!
Thank you for clearly labelling this as satire. In the future, could you include a definition of “satire” so not so many people will make fools of themselves?
My blood pressure was rising and then I scrolled down to see it was good old American Satire.
I love the USofA. We are the best at finding something humorous in every situation.
Meanwhile, this guy Suleman has allowed thousands of illegal aliens to register to vote, no checks or questions asked.
The problem with dems is, satire all too often gives 'em ideas!
The Dems already have these ideas. I just put their unspoken thoughts into words.
