"They Must Think You're Stupid!"
That is the line Senator Obama has used time and time again when talking about Senator McCain. Yet, Senator Obama is proving that he is the one who must think Americans are stupid. Yesterday, Senator Obama with the help of the mainstream media attempted to claim...
Sorry, forgot to click on excert.

Guess someone forgot to tell him about THOMAS on line. (Gee, I hope that's right.)
And why should we read them...they don't...They have a "helper" that gives them the gist of it...and then they have their "planned vote"...and then we get scr****.
9% says it all.
Newt Gingrich did this back in 1994 as part of the Contract with America. Its at http://thomas.loc.gov/
What a turkey!
Can you imagine if a Republican had uttered this glaring exhibition of ignorance?
The press pipms would never give it a rest.
But since the press is pimping for Obama, you’ll hear NOTHING of it.
Seriously, we can already see the bills. What we need to add is a change history so we can see exactly who is trying to slip in the Robert Byrd tropical research center in West Virginia. No changes should be allowed to a bill without a Representative or Senator's name being attached to the change (no more "the staff must have done it" excuses), and full vote tracking on each ammendment so I can just click on a line removed or added to see who voted for and against it in the committee or full Congress.
Who has veto power over anything the UN Security Council tries to do? I guess that would be ... uh ... Russia.
Bears repeating.
a change history so we can see exactly who is trying to slip in the Robert Byrd tropical research center in West Virginia
THOMAS has links to the Congressional Record, where you can see who put in what amendment to a bill, what the discussion was, and in most cases the vote.
The O man does not believe people are stupid. He believes he is intelligent. If he were aware of his ignorance he could cover it up. His handlers are trying but, just like his running mate, he does not know when to button it up.
They do think we're stupid!
I don't care about "bills" or Laws on line. I can't afford to keep a competent attorney on retainer to decipher them for me.
It is well known that most of the legislators who vote on bills have neither read them nor understand them. What chance have I got?
What I would like to see is what Sarah says she did in Alaska. Put all disbursements on line so we can see where the money goes, and exactly to whom.
I realize this gives the crooks of both parties in DC heart failure, but nothing short of that is acceptable.
Is Thomas something that can be used by any citizen?
Link, please?
Still, I think knowing where the money goes and when is a LOT more important that stupid laws.
In the past, if you wanted a bill text, you asked your rep, who’d call an office in WDC, and they’d mail you a copy that was probably out of date in terms of amendments. After you read it, you’d call the rep and make comments- unless it had already been voted.
With THOMAS (Jeffeson) you get the info quickly, in a cut and pastable format. Suddenly the news people can be held accountable for what they SAY a bill does or has in it, in one news cycle, and we have time to mobilize calling trees an dletters to the editor.
Plus, it has records for all bills filed. WWant to see what bills Chuck Hagel has sponsored? click-click.
Odd, isn’t it, that this powerful tool is not beeter known?
I guess he doesn’t hang out with algore much or he would know of his really cool invention called the In-ter-net.
What is 0’s experience again?
