If this is a cult item of every woman’s wardrobe, then why is a 16 year old boy modeling it?

For real. I think I can get one of these at our local GoodWill Store. Major bargains!

She is a bit lacking in the upper area, huh? Bless her heart. ;-)

That’s not a trench coat, its a double breasted jacket.

Because a gay man designed it, and when they pick an attractive model, they think "boy".

A trench coat that’s not as long as your skirt is useless.

Good time of year to hit the Salvation Army Store racks, though. Yesterday was our first day in the 90’s, so everyone will be donating coats!

I bought my Burberry years ago in London. I haven’t worn it for years. This posting spurred me to go to my back closet and pull the thing out and try it on.

It still looks brand new, it fits perfectly. I am going to remember to wear it this fall when the weather starts to cool. I want to be ‘in style’. Thanks for the heads up! LOL!

WOW...I cant believe the current price for the very Burberry coat I have! I think I paid between $200-$300 for mine those years ago. Now they are quoting upwards of $800.

A dumpy-looking, wrinkled coat for $108? No thanks.

Could someone please advise me, why women's cloths are so expensive?

My Jeans are $8/pair. 108/8=13.5. I could buy 13 and 1/2 pairs of jeans for the price of a single,(not very warm looking) women's coat! (we won't even mention the cost of women's underwear compared to men's).

You are so right! That is a jacket, trench coat is long. I have a denim one (trench coat) and I love it, problem is since I quit smoking all my clothes are shrinking and I am afraid it is getting too small for me along with most of my clothes. All the money I save on cigs is now going toward clothes.

My trenchcoat is 35 years old (Misty Harbor). It's still as substantial, crispy-fresh and chic as the day I bought it....and it still fits me, LOL.

The coat that the model is wearing above shouts "cheap". Flimsy, wrinkly, ill-cut, skimpy on the cutting, almost see-through....very definitely designed by a new-age woman-hater who thinks all American females are fashion dweebs, unlike those androgynous French women, la dee dah.

Think of it like fine watches and high-end bicycles. The smaller and lighter, the more expensive.
