I started thinking about this a few days ago but have waited until the weekend to post this somewhat offbeat DUFU edition. What I would like to throw out for discussion is the question of exactly WHAT will the DUmmies do if Obama loses in November? Of course, this assumes he is nominated which is still not a completely sure thing. But assuming he is nominated what do you think the reaction from the DUmmies and other leftwingers be if their beloved Obamassiah loses in November? The simple answer is they will implode. However, I am looking for more specific answers. Exactly HOW will they implode? What forms will this take?
After Kerry lost in 2004, the implosion took some interesting forms. One example was when the DUmmies "stood up" in DUmmieland and gave their real names in Drama Queen fashion. This year, I think such a loss will hit them much, much harder. Could an Obama loss spell DOOM for the Democrats as the DUmmies blame Hillary for their loss?
I am interested in hearing your input as to what the reaction will be from the DUmmies and other Leftwing Loons if Obama loses. Your humble correspondent believes that an Obama loss will infect the Left with a POLITICAL RAGE VIRUS.
And to all you pundits, bloggers, and reporters out there...You are free to use the term "Political Rage Virus" as long as you give credit to your humble correspondent here for coining the term. (I googled that term and I am the FIRST to use it.)
I don’t know about the DU, but I fully expect some rioting if Obama is not elected. Demagogues will say it’s proof that a black man can’t make it in America.
How will they implode?
Depends on the failure mode.
If he is routed in a Mondalesque landslide, the prefered explanation will be racism.
If he loses both the popular vote and the electoral college narrowly, the explanation will be election fraud and voter intimidation.
If he loses the electoral college but wins the popular vote, the explanation will be the unfairness of the electoral college.
If he wins the electoral college but loses the popular vote, there will gloating about Republicans hoisted on their own petard.
If he wins both the electoral college and the popular vote narrowly, America will get a glimpse of what New Yorkers experienced under David Dinkins. (They haven’t had a Democratic mayor since.)
If he wins both the electoral college and the popular vote handily, America will get a glimpse of what the people of Venezulea and Zimbawe have experienced. (Hopefully, we will at least have at least have a shot at another election.) PJ-Comix will go to jail.
Here’s an interesting supposition: What if the idealistic young Obamessiah vote, coupled with the older DU looney vote, decide ‘enough is enough’ and instigate violence in an attempt to “take the country back”? Mass riots in the streets? Vanadlism and injury?
What I’s LIKE to see is a massive counter-demonstration of those on OUR side of things. We would ‘put them in their place’ and convince them that doing anything but crawling back to their mother’s basement or university office would be akin to suicide.
But I don’t think but a few of us have the cojones to pull something like that off.
#1. Hillary will resign from Senate soon after first of year. She has NO desire to be part of a 100 person group of any kind, she is very tarnished and there is no denying that her fellow Dem senators do not like her, let alone that many Republicans hate her.
The “tell all” books from inside her campaign will be devastating, and she will no longer have the power to stop them.
She does not need a senatorial seat to have public power. The senate seat was never anything more than a stepping stone to her “birthright,” the White House, and even more for her, her complete destruction of the current capitalist system in America.
She will form a foundation, make speeches, earn about $20 mil a year, support the radical causes she cares about, live quietly with her lover(s) and live her own life.
Although they may no divorce, there will be no pretense that she and Bill are a couple any longer.
#2, Bill will become everyone's wacky old uncle, sleep with as many women as he can, (nothing new there) and fewer and fewer people will listen to him every year.
As a result, he will become more and more desperate in his activities and public pronouncements. As he does, he will just accelerate the speed of his descent.
#3, Obama will return to the Senate. For a few months, he will be the wunderkin, but they stories about his far-leftist past will seep out and he will become a very convenient target for the Right.
He will end up blaming White America for all his problems, and like Bill and Hillary, will end up with 20% of America loving him and 80% not caring anymore.
Still, what side is more likely to be armed, if it comes to violence in the streets.
Know what I think will happen? Nothing. They will be so disappointed in the American people that they will wash their hands of our vile society and retire back into their mother's basements. A few blogs and editorials will be written, and of course a campaign to delegitmate McCain's presidency will commence.
The Euroweenies are more likely to do something. Perhaps they will stop inviting their American acquaintances to their parties in Paris and Milan.

For the dumbographics you list above to get the numbers needed to “take the country back”? Free weed, free Lattes, and free abortions would have to be offered at these events...Otherwise the DUmmies will just stay in Mommy’s basement...chanting “Troof to Power”...whatever the hell that means.
I wonder if large numbers of DUmmies will be performing a “Heaven’s Gate” routine?
My guess is that there will be another larger ‘Days Of Rage’ at major (liberal) colleges across the U.S.
There will be ‘riots’ in major predominantly black cities that will last a little more than a weekend as the realization that ‘Every vote counts!’ is a big D Democrat crock.
I also expect that those college students and disenfranchised who have jobs will stay away from them for a week or two out of spite and ‘Speaking truth to power’ until the rent is due.
The far-left Moonbats at DU, Kos and HuffPo will have blood squishing out of their ears. Far-left funding will hit a brick wall. Barack will go back to the Senate and lose his senate seat next time around since the far-left doesn’t back losers.
Hillary will win the Primary and lose badly in the General, due to the same far-left wrecking her stump speeches bewteen Auust and November. Some blacks and minorities will hold their nose and vote for Hillary, though the majority of finally enlightened, PO’ed voters will stay home.
In other words, a bad month or two, but nothing we haven’t survived before.

Dem lawyer Harry Goodman of the Orlando area brought suit in Seminole County (30 miles north of Orlando) to invalidate all military absentee ballots statewide.... and he DID have some excellent legal points on his side.
While all the attention was focused on recounts in South Florida, had Jacobs succeeded in getting even a TRO, Gore would have been way ahead.
National Republican forces were all committed in South Florida.
We put the word out on FR and had about 200 FReepers and FRiends yelling and screaming outside the courthouse. We were so loud a deputy sheriff came to ask us to tone it down because they couldn't hear each other in the courtroom!
The comment everywhere was “Republicans/Conservatives demonstrating?”
There were “W1” signs everywhere!
As a result, they moved the matter to Leon County (Tallahassee) where it got wrapped into the whole statewide issue, and disappeared.

I think that they will be resigned to a loss long before the election myself.
They will get their candidate they wanted, but when he keeps sagging in the polls and the numbers are too great to argue they will be forced to admit that he will lose.
They will of course blame it on racism, and to be honest there will be a percentage of people who will vote because of that.
I think what they refuse to admit is the racism is coupled with his liberal leanings though, if Colin Powell or even Condi were on a national ticket racism would not be anywhere near the same turnoff to voters as Baraq’s message is.
I want someone to ask Baraq or his wife how they feel about reparations, or find out if they have made any statements to support or reject the idea. If it comes out either he or she has been a proponent of that idea you will see such a desertion from the blue-collar democrats in the cities across the entire nation they will leave a dust storm in their wake.

But then, if the OJ Simpson trial didn't teach women that, nothing will.
An Obama loss would be even worse. They will probably post photos of their genitalia.
I think it would be funny if they tried to move to Canada, France, or New Zealand, only to find all three countries saying "Oh, no you don't. We have enough assistant professors, unemployed writers, and Starbucks barristers."
That’s an interesting story, and it just shows that we can beat back the forces of darkness, as long as we stay aware of what they are doing and move to stop them.
