2008-05-13) A day after Republican presidential candidate John McCain unveiled his cap-and-trade plan to defeat the imminent threat of global warming, a coalition of conservative voters announced it would enthusiastically support his proposal by refusing to burn fossil fuels on November 4, 2008.
Were eager to live out Sen. McCains conservative vision for the earth, said the groups unnamed spokesman, by keeping millions of Republican-owned SUVs and pickup trucks in their garages on election day.
The coalition said the symbolic move would not only cut carbon emissions by thousands of tons, but it would also put a president in the White House with John McCains views on the global warming issue.
“Backing McCain Energy Plan, GOP Voters to Stay Home”
He’s not worth the carbon it would take to get to the polls.

ROFLMAO, I fully expect the McBots to avoid this thread as if it was a conservative issue.

“As usual, the best humor always has a big glob of truth in it.”
Make that BIG.
Might have qualified as a “McBot” earlier. Didn’t like McCain but considered him infinitely superior to Obama and Hillary. Not any more. Seriously considering staying home on election day for the first time EVER since I could vote.
****Didnt like McCain but considered him infinitely superior to Obama and Hillary. Not any more.****
dammit - you are exactly correct - I moved over reluctantly - but he never sees an opportunity to just SHUT UP;)
This dumbness just cost him the election.
I’m all spent out - Piytar - if you see me on a political thread - please feel free to kick my *ss off it;)
That would be a big HUGE glob of truth with just a little twist of humor.
The Big Glob is that Democrat running on the GOP ticket.
I wish he would curb his emmissions and let us trade for something other than a big liberal glob.
The only thing we get to vote on now is the speed of our demise.
I just filled out the form to get my absentee ballot. That’s as much energy as I intend to expend on this election, and it isn’t for McCain.
Great. Just hand the entire country to the Dims because you don’t get your way.
