"A 33-year-old Colorado Springs woman has been questioned about a telephone call that sparked a raid at the polygamist Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints compound in western Texas two weeks ago.

Rozita Swinton was arrested at her home Wednesday night by Colorado Springs police for an incident that occurred in February. Members of the Texas Rangers were also in Colorado Springs as part of their investigation.

"The Texas Rangers were in Colorado Springs (Wednesday) as part of their investigation involving the compound in Texas. They left and have not filed any charges on Rozita Swinton as of this time," said Colorado Springs police spokesman Lt. Skip Arms.

Colorado Springs police said the arrest warrant has been sealed and refused to release any other details, reported Deseret News."

This behavior smells worse.

Especially her account of what was done to her infants.

Testimony like her's would be admissible as an expert witness in any future jury trial (and there will be trials) as to what occurs at FLDS compounds - so don't try to tell me this video isn't relevant to this particular case.

Yep, I saw that. And the children involved should be rescued, no argument here. But just because these kids in that family were abused does not mean that CPS has the right to seize every other kid in the community. Unless, of course, it is determined that this is SOP in that community.

If anyone in Texas couples that with being uncooperative, or not giving truthful answers about their insurance or any other questions asked - they officer can arrest them. You don't lie to the police. This isn't the BATF at Waco we are talking about.

Your attempt to make light of the situation is not affective. The FLDS lied to the town about major construction, vehicles, and materials being shipped into their compound.

Try doing that on your property.

A police officer uses discretion. Most of them won't go around arresting someone for saying they were not speeding.

Lying to the town Sheriff about millions of dollars of construction taking place does not equate.

There has been those same types of accusations on all these threads.

If you post “Well, what about the fourth amendment?”, some self righteous pretend know-it-all will respond “Screw the fourth amendment. You’re a pedophile!”

It’s a very emotional topic. But my view is that it amounts to clearing out and detaining an entire city block because somebody 500 miles away calls in and says he smells somebody smoking some reefer.
