Dear Friends and Family,
I am on the march to reclaim the Republican Party and true conservatism. I am calling on all of you to STOP the compromising, step out in faith and vote for principles. Dr. Dobson has set an example that in my opinion is long over due. Why is it that we seem to always need someone to step out first? I can tell you with all confidence that Giuliani, McCain, Paul and Huckabee are NOT true/genuine conservatives. Giuliani is just a liberal dressed up to look Conservative, McCain always says one thing and votes the opposite. I know, I live in his district. Paul continues to say outrageous and bizarre things and Huckabee is not solid on immigration, the war and when asked straight forward "Would you have signed the schip bill?" he would NOT give a straight answer! I shouldn't leave out at least one observation of Romney, he leans toward socialized health care.
Have you noticed this election is being driven by wealthy r i n o (republican in name only) conservatives, Progressives and both conservative AND liberal media? We must stop accepting the lesser of two evils. Stop sitting back and taking what these people are doing to our country/party, and stop swallowing the compromises they want to cram down our throats. We don't need to go along with this or to jump party. What we need to do is draw the line, take a stand and stop letting them run our future. We must follow our conservative convictions. If we don't, I can tell you this with all confidence that conservatism will become irrelevant. We will be expected to embrace the European way. NO MORE TOLERANCE. Speaking of Europe, they are seeing the errors of their ways and beginning to come out of it. Did you hear French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Washington today? ( look it up on fox) He received nine standing ovations. He reached out to America to restore and reunite our relationship and showed great sympathy and appreciation for the sacrifices Americans have made for France.
I want to turn the light on to Congressman Duncan Hunter. It is my belief that the powers that be ignore him because he closely resembles a Reagan Conservative. He is NOT in the pocket of any one, which was one of Reagan's strengths. Congressman Hunter is RIGHT on securing the borders, saving American jobs, winning the war on terror, defending the traditional American family and protecting the unborn. CONGRESSMAN DUNCAN HUNTER IS THE TRUE CONSERVATIVE! If we join together as real Americans to fight for what is right we can smack-down those powers that be and take back the Republican party. Remember, it only takes a spark. Lets burn with passion for true conservatism, for the sake of our children and grandchildren and FREEDOM!

I used to do that. I didn't want to hate people I like. So when I saw the direction it was going in the last 2 presidential races...basically No Primary, I gave up too. We can't afford to hide from the ugly truth of this fixed political mess any longer. They're stealing you right to choose, election after election . Doesn't that motivate you?

Gee ya think??? LOL I thought we had seen the last of that when all the infighting about Giuliani ended. I have never seen so much misuse and overuse of the word “hate” on FR. It’s sad.
Read through the thread, and you’ll find a warning given to pissant....via a link. I assuming the banning had something to do with his anti-method of convene progress ie instead of boosting Duncan, he spent a lot of time destroying the reputation of Fred. Something not welcome on FR, especially if it’s false nature or a spin...which often it is by anti-fred people.
Personally, I like pissant at times. On the other hand, if he would focus his anti-views on Rudy, Romney, McCain, and Huckabee....with a strong support for Duncan...I’d hold a much higher opinion of his behaviour. Unfortunately that’s just not how he operates. Duncan’s a good man, and while I reserve my full judgement on Pissant, I hope to see him back on FR at a latter time.

I know exactly what your family is going through. For me, even though it was 12 years ago, and still seems like yesterday. You too, seem to know where to lean for strength.
What interests me is that apparently some people were emailed by Im4Fred. My emails were from Be4Fred.
I’m not sure what happened, but I think FR needs to tighty up a bit...and we need to get rid of this horse-play. I’d like to think we’re more respectable.

I think who ever was doing it was trying to make Fred and Duncan look bad and all their posters. There have been lots of purges on forums lately of a hand full of rabid Paul supporters ( I don’t think they really support him, it’s a fad for the loosers). My bet’s on them. Pure speculation.
Whoever it was, is banned. Pissant says banned or suspended instead. I am guessing it is a time out, but not being a mod I don’t know for sure.

I'm neither a Fred supporter or Hunter supporter (and I'm not on either of their ping lists), yet I also got a freepmail from "Im4Fred" warning me that support for all other candidates was now prohibited on this forum and I was to donate to "FRed" this month or else.
I can see why this poster was banned so quickly. Very interesting.
I don't remember "Im4Fred" ever posting on forum before seeing that Freepmail either. Seems to me the entire forum was spammed by some nut who signs up at conservative websites and tries to con people to send money en masse to "FRed". It's clearly some renagage loon whose actions are not authorized by the Fred Thompson for President committee, and it would be wise for them to crack down on the source of these threating messages.
This infantile behavior sounds very familiar.
Some are now trying to spin it as a "pissant's revenge" action They aren't reading the e-mail closely.
Maybe, but one that had the knowledge that pissant was banned. It is interesting to see how deep those FR-mails went. Hmmmm....curious-er and curious-er

I got the stupid freepmail from Im4Fred and didn’t follow his links to this discussion before I shot off a complaint to Jim.
I don’t know why pissant was banned, but I’m glad Im4Fred got the ax. He must have $*!/ for brains if he thinks that email would get any normal Freeper to donate to his candidate.
