Senator John Kerry (D-Mass.) whose bid for the presidency in 2004 was damaged by attacks on his vaunted Vietnam War record by a group called Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, says he is now ready to refute their allegations.
We have put together a powerful and irrefutable rebuttal to the scurrilous charges made against me by these right wing fanatics, Kerry asserted.
Kerry declined to disclose any of his reputedly irrefutable proof at this time saying that the American people have not yet shown a sufficient measure of regret and contrition for voting against me. They disrespected mea decorated veteranand reelected a draft-dodging doofus. Until I get an apology, Im holding my fire.
Kerry said he expects that Americas eagerness to finally hear the full story will build to an unbearable level. Then theyll apologize just so they can satisfy their curiosity. They wont be disappointed. The senator did offer a teaser when he hinted that he has evidence indicating that the war would have ended differently had he not been forced out of action by his wounds.

Another case of satire being truer than the news - I can just see Kerry demanding such an apology. ;)

(not that he has any anyways)

I’m waiting. Let’s hear it.
John Kerry swinging after the bell. Great. Reminds me of the black knight in the Holy Grail film, where all his limbs have been hacked off by King Arthur and he yells “come back here and I’ll bite your legs off!”

Ah yes, we’ve all been holding our breathe waiting for the ‘real’ response from Kerry.
Just in time for, what? Why is this guy still speaking? Does he not know the microphone is no longer on?

One of the problems of having a lot of money (even for those who are married into it), is that you suddenly get surrounded by sycophants who'll tell you to do things that are just plain wrong.
John, you'd have been much happier if sycophants didn't convince him to waste all that time, money, and dignity in chasing politics.
Sorry, John. Some of those close to you are talking you into being something you're just not.
You're not military. You hate the military. Stop trying to pretend that you enjoy it, want it, wish it was you.
Leave the soldiering to those who have a vocation for it. You can, instead, enjoy your life doing things that you want to do.
For example, here's how another politician (who lost a presidential election, btw) has fun doing what he wants to do:
Bush Sr. skydiving. Isn't that more fun than listening to sycophants telling you that can still win the 2004 election?
If you're an artist, be an artist. If you're a sports enthusiast, be an athlete. But for heaven sakes, stop trying to run business as if you're a workaholic, and stop trying to mess with military matters as if you're a career soldier. These sycophants are making an embarrassment out of you, and the only pictures that filter to the public are ones that are extremely unflattering:

I want to see this traitor’s original discharge papers. They must be less than “honorable” which I believes disqualifies him. Hence the 1986 version which Lehman claims he didn’t sign but carries his signature - If my memory serves me correctly.
