For the first time, Fred Thompson has taken the lead in the GOP 2008 Presidential Nomination Futures Market.
Good news and STOP RUDY 2008 ping! Freepmail me to be added or removed from the "STOP RUDY 2008" ping list.
duke Sssssh...the walls have ears. I would suggest taking this conversation to the discussion called "FR" on salt river.... Category News & Views Written by___________Added Apr 29th 2007

Wow. One after another post calling for threads to be taken into a "private" "FR" section of the site. They have the right to do whatever they want there, but to come back here and claim one has been disappointed by Free Republic? How does that work?
Got a link? :>)
See post #158.
We at this community also reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
Now, I fully understand that if something is asked for by subpoena in a criminal or civil suit that it must be turned over. But what is their basis for turning over private information based on a "complaint"? I wonder how many WAckos who signed up just to anti-FReep are aware that the moderators have basically stated that they will turn over all of your information anytime they want to whomever they want, all they have to do is fabricate a "complaint."
See my explanation in #70.
Thanks.
..Rudy really looks “Wide Awake”...
Roody, Titanic. Getting hard to tell any difference.
(re: Fred Thompson and Tom Tancredo. I’ve given 100 bucks to the Tancredo campaign and I proudly vote for him every 2 years. He is right on everything I care about and a nice guy, but he doesn’t sound or look presidential. If Thompson can get traction and momentum I will have to vote for him, though in Colorado, the nominee will already be chosen by the time we have our primary)
Shhh.. my fellow Tennesseans will run me outta town on a rail. Uncle Billy gets no love down here.
Contrary to some Southerners I consider myself an American first, although you can't get much more country than Wise County VA where I was born.
I've been using that quote from Sherman to his quartermaster because to me it typifies the kind of all-out determination-- and dare I say ruthlessness-- that America's politicians are lacking in the waging of war.
I'm extremely proud of our military and I'm sure there are military leaders like Sherman today..Washington just needs to take the muzzles off them and let warriors be warriors.
Its obvious Ivan’s RUtards were never going to be on the side of conservatives, any more than Hillary supporters are.
Rabid leftists will never side with conservatives.
Thompson/Hunter would probably attract alot of brain-fried Hunter Thompson fans as well! ;-)
“Or WAckjob”
If you guys keep picking on Ivan’s RUtards we’ll have to call the WAaaaaambulance for them.
I think they should merge with the DUmmies.
“I think they should merge with the DUmmies.”
OK. WA and DU. What can we name the united collection using those letters?
DUAW WAuD ?
“Ivan’s Rooty Rejects” works for me.
I still think that WAckos works best, though I considered d!ckWAds.
That was the most surprising comment I've ever seen.
LOL!

It's not going to be DNC Lite; it's going to be a more moderate conservative party though; you all have had your foot on our necks for too long. This country has to be governed in the middle; the world has moved on from the 50's. The Contract with America will unite this party again. But we're not going to let you make abortion and guns the big issues this time around. Post Reply | Private Reply | To 792 | View Replies |
