An attack on a major US target is rumored to scheduled for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, beginning this year on September 24. Previous rumors suggest that Los Angeles (or, at any rate, a location in California) may be the intended target.

I assure you, if they do so, there will never be another Haj to Mecca ever again. If the President isn't man enough to order it himself, then you can be sure a brave American bomber pilot will do it himself.
Since you're spreading rumors, here's one for you to spread around. When Khatami came to DC for a visit, President Bush let him know that if there was a nuclear strike by Al Qaeda on US soil, all of Iran would be wiped out. Iranian agents are now busy trying to capture OBL and Al-Zawahiri who at various times have been given refuge in Iran.
The attack won't be a nuke, it won't be from Usama.
It will be executed by Iran and it will be a large EMP burst that will take out Electrical transmission, computer networks (involving just about everything), transportation, etc.

It appears to be a wild-web-distortion of the claims made by Ayman al Zawahiri in his latest tape where he said that they intend to attack during Ramadan. However he did not mention US soil - but foreign troops in Iraq and other Arab lands.
It would be interesting, enraging nearly a third of the earth's population.

Call me naive but my thinking is that they are waiting to see if a Dem will be elected President. I can see them wreaking more hell on us then in hopes that the lib pres wouldn't do anything about it.
