I'm with you, Sam, on the...
Maybe , maybe not...
The "forced conversion" didn't bother me all that much, it could be said this was just something they decided to agree to in order to live and be free again.
However...that bit about making sure this didn't scare off other reporters to the Gaza area because "the Palestinians are a beautiful people whose story needs to be told"....I found reprehensible. At that moment, my sympathy for these two dissolved. Now I question where and with who their true sympathies and loyalties lie.

I'd show them some card tricks and show off a transistor radio as my magic voice box, and then become their fearless new religious leader.

"Keyboard hero."
And what does that say of people who can't even muster the fortitude to be a 'keyboard hero'.
Notice that the poll asks what you INTEND, as has been already said, you never know ahead of time, and hopefully never will.
If they had nukes enough to wipe out the usa, and said convert or we launch, would the nation cave in to them? Looks like it would, just as they hope.

And there is this in Matthew 10:33...
...whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Accepting islam is denying the divinity of Jesus.

But if don't convert right there with the gun at your head, you are dead right then, do not pass go...do not collect $200. I'd take my chance with a conversion back to Christianity and repudiate Islam and let the Muzzies try to find me. I would ask for God's forgiveness and being our God, not the devil Allah, he would most likely forgive me for denying him.
To: MarineBrat
Totally agree!
I thought that is what Steve and Olaf would do, until their main concern seemed to be that they wanted to make sure the story of the "beautiful people of Palestine" continued to be told. Hmmmm....

Would those "beautiful people" be the same ones who were dancing in the streets and cheering when the WTC went down? My respect for the two also disappeared after they made their respective statements. Though that will not make me give up FoxNews.

I'll play. Say whatever it takes to get back to U.S.A. having said that, let me say some more...
I served under the
worst president ever. I'm embarrassed by his lack of response to the start of terrorism against America from
"the religion of peace" during my military time.
Upon my return to America, I would denounce the religion that has sex with camels, and
hates women. Then ask for a little time with "the button". Trust me, if we don't stop the scourge now, we'll kill lots more later. Either that, or we can fight them on our own soil. Our freedom is a gift from God, losing it would be worshipping evil.
As Sam adams said -
" If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands that which feed you. May your chain be set lightly upon you and posterity forget ye were our countrymen."

Combination of e and i. Tell them what they want to hear then after release publicly taunt them with the fact that I lied to them...after all to them lying in the furtherance of their goals is acceptable, so turnabout is fair play!

If there's no hope of rescue, target me with a JDAM and take the islamderthal animals out with me.
Absolutely. That's a death I could be proud of before God.
For myself, I tend to be very ornery; those of you who are familiar with my ranting posts know this. It's hard to say what one would do until you've been there, but given my occasionally acidic personality, there's a good chance it would go something like this:
Islamonazi: "Convert to Islam or die!"
Me: "Go **** yourself!"

whatever man, think what you want.
calling me "keyboard hero" huh?
Ive had 2 tours in Iraq. 17 months and 9 moths long. I lost 3 friends to these asshats. I want to kill them all, not a one of them can be trusted.
Besides I am very strong in my Christian faith. Nothing on this earth will cause me to say anything to the contrary. And I couldn't live with the shame of doing what these islimeists would want me to do.
The choice is moot though i would never be taken prisoner alive.
but Im sure you have had experience huh? im sure you are so much braver than me. im sure you can look down at me and say that i wouldnt do that stuff. whatever.

Those radical Islamist don't actually get it because:
1Jo 4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jo 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us.

The operating word here .. for me .. is you .. meaning me, so my answer is truly based on me and not on an ideal.
I'm a born-again Christian and I believe I will go to be with Jesus at the time of my death .. I'm 58 years old and my wife died two years ago .. my only connection to this world is (are) my children .. all of whom are also saved (born-again) and have a like mindedness as mine.
They have shown a peace that I believe only comes from the assurance of having a personal relationship with God .. regarding the 'going home' of their mother.
Yeah .. I think I would spit in the muzzies' faces and witness to them about Jesus and His love and saving grace .. over the increasing volume and frenzie of their Satanic chant.
See ya' in Glory kids .. me n' Mom n' Jesus.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but did not St. Peter himself deny Jesus not once, but three times?
