BRAKING HARD: Free Republic Dooms America ZOT!

As is the case with a group think machine that is only interested in discushing shared ideas and beliefs without respect to reason or facts, the people involved with the Free Republic are dictated by their own sets of preowned views and beliefs. Anything that implies the USA to be wrong in its foreign policy is considered unacceptable and the member who made anti American remarks is swiftly banned from the forum.
I am sorry to say this but most of you in the forum are low lifes whose knowledge and world understanding is distorted at best and hence you will not allow brains like myself to be part of your forum.
I would go far enough to even conclude that its you people who are war mongers and very likely most of you revoted Bush into office.
To finalize, I would say this, usually people argue a point more to convince themselves rather than convincing others. In your case the matter is sicker than that; you are a bunch of people who suffer from inferiority complex and have been sidelined by your own societies.
One day, indeed a promised day, A PEOPLE OF YOUR MENTALITY WILL BE PUSHED ASIDE AND THE WORLD WILL THEN BE ABLE TO ENJOY TRUE PIECE AND HARMONY. With Nazi minded assholes like yourselves on board, America will sink and that is no longer an impossibility.

Plans are one thing, having the supplies/troops in the right positions with the right logistics takes time. Especially with the Naval units which were all in position with the proper load outs for this operation.
Look at how long it took us to get ready for Saddam, and I am sure we have had those plans for some time.

At least I had facts to look at instead of propaganda published by a biased media. Check this out, y'all...I've got one accusing me of getting my opinions on the Middle East from the media.
Is this hilarious or what?? Guess he's never seen any of my millions of anti-media rants. LOL!

Having outgrown my taste for being shot at, I am here in the USA operating my trucking co. I was offered some very lucrative opportunities in the Middle East in the last year by our government, but refused them in spite of some heavy duty arm twisting.
I have friends and property in Lebanon, and needless to say am concerned about them. Israel is not so much waging war on terrorists as they are destroying the country's infrastructure.
To: Pro-Bush
Not sure what public confirmations are available. I have a lot of friends in the IDF (been over there professionally several times) and most of them either had their tour extended or were called up early. Among the workers in my trucking co are 2 retired IDF soldiers who I helped immigrate to here. They have been telling me the same thing.

Are you going to hum one of your assumptive insults at me for that, too?
Go ahead. I've got pretty thick skin. I can take it.

So you went there with your eyes wide open. You made a personal decision to put yourself into harms way, if it was the right decision or not is something you have to decide for yourself.
I feel our whole Middle Eastern policy is seriously flawed and was unwilling to put my life on the line for something I do not believe in. When I was younger and dumber, I believed our government too much and volunteered for both my tours in Vietnam. Today, they'd have to draft me.

Someone buy this moron a spell-checker, will ya?
Maybe then I can be dazzled by his brilliance. Ahem.
To: Postal Worker with a gun
Oh, you're good with the insults and they're not even that veiled. You're not just lobbing these insults at me because I refuted your accusations that I get my information from the media, are you?
I do believe in this mission and have no shame whatsoever in supporting it. In fact, I am honored to do so.
Yep, I made the decision to come here and have stayed longer than was my original intent. And I have no regrets.
I've had plenty of detractors, most of them with Code Pink or A.N.S.W.E.R. and the like. It's a good thing I make my own decisions and am not influenced by what others think. I'm a leader, not a follower.
I'm just disappointed that a fellow Houstonian cat-lover is choosing to act in such a manner towards someone just because she sinply disagrees with his views.

Are you fluent in Arabic?
Do you only listen to/watch the propaganda Israel puts out?
Have you lived in and owned property in an Arab nation?
Are you familiar with how our good friends the Israelis spy on us?
Remember how Israel got their bomb material?
Remember the USS Liberty?
When I was in government service I was not allowed opinions of my own. Today I can have them, and there are a lot of Israelis who are also unhappy with the direction their country has taken, I have 2 of them working for my company here after I helped them immigrate to the USA. I also have sources of information I am sure are not available to you. I know how our government handles information and how they diplomatically phrase (translation = routinely lie) things. Believe what you want, I have seen the Israelis in operation for too long to trust them. Not that some of the Arabs are any better, both sides have issues. I object to our government letting Israel use our backing to start what may wind up being a global nuclear war.

Thanks for your service to our country, Postal Worker.
But alluding that Allegra gets her info from the media is a faaaaaaaar stretch from the truth! LOL
Stay safe, Allegra! You're in our prayers!

Are you competing with me?
Do you realize how that makes you look?
Don't feel so threatened by me; I'm not in cometition with you. That's silly.
I have too much self-confidence for that.

I resent your implication that by being here in the USA I do not know what is going on. Past experience, especially with military operations, has shown that those on the scene are usually the least informed on what is happening outside their narrow field of view.
To: Postal Worker with a gun
FWIW - PW, I have family members who have LIVED (not in the military) in 2 Arab nations and are in the process of moving to the third. They are still very pro-Isreal. People have different opinions. Nothing wrong will Allegra stating hers. I don't care if Isreal spies on us -- I'm pretty sure we probably spy on them too. It's the nature of business, and if we AREN'T spying on EVERYONE, I'd be a little disappointed.

Who knows if they are even telling the truth about being attacked and having soldiers kidnapped.Yeah, sure. Israel went to all of the trouble of withdrawing from Lebanon and Gaza, just to build back up again and attack those places again.
Regarding their two-month buildup, I think it is likely that they had intel that Iran and Syria were orchestrating attacks through proxies. Israel got caught by surprise once, they are not going to let that happen again.
