Michelle Malkin rips the Dixie Chicks a whole new one.(h/t MuscleHead) I had not heard the remark that Natalie Maines made in the London Telegraph, but apparently this chick never learns.
"A lot of pandering started going on, and you'd see soldiers and the American flag in every video. It became a sickening display of ultra-patriotism."
"The entire country may disagree with me, but I don't understand the necessity for patriotism," Maines resumes, through gritted teeth. "Why do you have to be a patriot? About what? This land is our land? Why? You can like where you live and like your life, but as for loving the whole country... I don't see why people care about patriotism."
This time instead of insulting the President she insults all patriotic Americans of any political stripe - a s t o u n d i n g!

The Dixie Chicks are playing the American media and public like a drum....
By getting all this Anti-Bush & Anti-America press, it is making the Dixie Chicks popular in Europe -- where they can still attract an audience..
They realize they've already shit in their Easter Basket, here in the States -- so they're "trading" on all this negative press to BOOST their appeal in their new market - Europe.
Just an old man's opinion.
Semper Fi
"What a brain dead twit."
Yep, "Dumber than a bag of hammers" would be a step up for ole Natalie.
"When will the other two dump her?"
Unfortunately, they echo her stupidity.
Rosie the Riveter would disagree with your assessment.
This girl is just plain stupid.
Ahh yes, Europe. Country and Western music capital of the world.
If stupid were stones, she could supply the building material for the Pyramids of Giza.
I like Hotair although I am mad that registration for comments has been closed. I was put of the waiting list at Lucianne.com two years ago and I still haven't been let in and I have never been back there.
