Now wait a minute. If they used the broomstick INSTEAD of ... you know, whatever... then there would be no DNA. But in the next quote it says they used one IN ADDITION TO raping her, which would not magically erase DNA. This makes no sense.
I wouldn't be surprised if the girl was abused but, if the reports are right as to how the DA decided who to have charged, I could never convict if I were sitting on a jury.
That woman would be in the hospital if a broomstick was used on her. Or at least would have to be treated! This is BULL!!

Ow. No woman would use sex toys so brutally as to cause injury except the most masochistic. And strippers are typically in it for the money, not the fun, so I think we can rule that out.
I haven't read that any injuries were reported, however.
And, in college, most kids don't even know what a broom is for and don't have one, because they don't need one. It's college...
My exact thoughts. Folks obviously haven't seen a Mens Dormitory or Off-Campus housing. Has the D.A. been out of school that long? Who among 18-21 year old young men I know would even know where to find the broom, much less use it.
Thinking on this broom stick more...these young men wouldn't think of any such thing...but a stripper would...I can't believe these strippers use broom sticks as one of their sex toys...YUK
I'm thinking she made that up. She should have at least used what little brains she has and said LaCross Stick. I give her an A for effort, but a D for content.
