I've never done a dedicated website-pimping post, so please bear with me if I fumble it.
There is simply no way to give an adequate description of The People's Cube.
- It is savagely anti-Leftist
- For those of us who grew up during the Cold War and have some knowlege of the hell of life behind the Iron Curtain, it is poignantly accurate in its satire
- The humor is simply brilliant (though it could be argued that mocking the communists, socialists, and leftists makes for rather easy jokes and parodies... all that is required is to be *slightly* more ludicrous than the reality)
- they are, without a doubt, the spiritual bretheren of the Protest Warriors:
Aside from that, all I can really do is encourage all FReepers to go there and take a look. The link above is to their main/home page (the "mother page" *grins*).
The link which follows is to a thread in their "Broom of Truth" forum, concerning the fact that Google, apparently by order of Red China, has purged The People's Cube from all of their search engines worldwide.
Google merges with ChiCom, bans People's Cube, changes name to "Gulagoogle"
I'd like to think that many FReepers would feel an urge to see what kind of support, moral and otherwise, they can give to such a staunchly anti-Leftist site.
and... just because it is too funny:
Already in my favorites.
shapka twigged me to the Cube last week.
I'm "kingprout" over there, if you ever desire to go robotnik in tandem
I visit The People's Cube every once in awhile, over there now and saw your post.
I didn't realize they had been banned/eliminated/erased from google for a bit. The email from Billy from China in Japan is an interesting read.
