DUmmie FUnnies 02-08-06 ("Face it folks, Rove stole the funeral and ate your lunch")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | February 8, 2006 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 02/08/2006 3:09:54 PM PST by PJ-Comix

In the Bizarro World of the DUmmies, the PR disaster the Democrats created for themselves by politicizing the Coretta Scott King funeral wasn't really their fault. No, the true source of their problem is none other than Karl Rove who somehow manipulated the media and turned the public against them just like he did at the Paul Wellstone funeral. Therefore the DUmmies now believe that they need to somehow outflank Karl Rove and beat him at his own game as you can see in this THREAD titled, "Face it folks, Rove stole the funeral and ate your lunch." So for the DUmmies it is NOT a matter of what they actually do or how they behave. It is all a matter of how they are perceived in the PR game. Therefore let us now watch the DUmmie machinations in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, setting the DUmmie wash cycle to SPIN, is in the [brackets]:

Face it folks, Rove stole the funeral and ate your lunch

[And then blasted out your entire flatulent thought process in a smelly fart.]

And he did it by turning the media against two devoutly religious men, including a former President who works tirelessly for human rights. Bill Clinton, being wise to all things political, made himself and his wife untouchable; but the righteous indignation of men like Jimmy Carter and the good Reverend Lowery are, unfortunately, easy targets for the boy genius, who preys on the soft bigotry and hard partisanship pervasive in our media and our country.

[I can only begin to imagine the DUmmie OUTRAGE if Lowery and Jimmy Carter were similarly blasted at a funeral for a prominent conservative.]

Bush now gets to take the high road... having, once again, had his surrogates do his dirty work. He will appear before the cameras and at some point soon say he "appreciates freedom of speech". The media will be aglow with adulation for his ability to forgive and forget, and imply he should never have to face his critics again, especially African Americans.

[FUnnie but I don't remember Jimmy Carter being slammed at the Ronald Reagan funeral even though Jimmy's failure as a President brought about the Reagan landslide.]

When will our team figure out that theirs has absolutely zero scruples? Bush was not boxed in to attending the funeral. Rove saw a tremendous political opportunity to change the story... no matter that it was the funeral of Coretta Scott King. He can and will find a way to play the race card, the gay card, the cultural card of the day when given any opportunity, exploiting whomever he has to in order to seize the message.

[When will your team get a clue that you DON'T politicize funerals? Now that you have another backlash ala the Wellstone funeral, you are screeching that is all because of the EVIL machinations of Karl Rove.]

Being decent people, it's sometimes hard to realize the answer to the question "at long last sir, have you no decency" is a resounding NO. It is long past the time we came to that conclusion.

[Did you ask that "decency" question of Ted the Swimmer when he was slamming Alito over a satirical article that he did NOT write?]

It doesn't matter that we are right, it doesn't matter how outraged we get about this... unless you can overnight change the way people think (and so many still don't understand that funerals can actually be non-morbid events), we've lost this debate. So, rather than provide them with the echo chamber they desire, we should refocus our energy on the stories of the day that are penetrating through the cultural muck:

[Use Rovian Mind Control and you too can change the way people think.]

1) Domestic Wiretapping
2) Jack Abramoff/Tom Delay/Culture of Crony Corruption
3) Valerie Plame

[The first two listed will get you NOWHERE and as to the third: MERRY FITZMAS!!!]

I'm tired of them stealing things from me, including elections and funerals. We need the congress in '06.

[Yeah, we did a Rovian Mind Control routine on Lowery and Carter and forced them to act like tasteless fools at the funeral. And now on to the other DUmmie droolings...]

I don't think Rove won. He made the media make it seem that way-but the celebration of the Truth by those at the funeral was a breath of fresh air, and a reminder that there are many of us out there, and that we are mighty because we are right!

[That breath of fresh air has an odor suspiciously similar to a smelly fart left in your face.]

It's all rovian bs - we've been hijacked every one of us.

[Damn that Karl Rove for making Lowery and Carter pull a Wellstone at the King funeral!]

I have a life-partner from the South. I know my in-laws and friends from the South are not buying the BS. Maybe you shouldn't listen to THEIR BS. Or better yet, call them out on their bigotry and hate, because that's exactly what Rove is about. There will come a time, in the not too distant future, where American's are going to get tired of the divisiveness that is this administration. Mark my words.

["Life-partner" translates into "Same Sex Partner." Hardly a typical voice of the South...or anywhere else.]

We must flush out those who enable Rove & Co. to divide and concur the rights of both people of color AND the working poor.

[Let the Purge Trials begin!]

rove's simple w on a car,... scott kings simple picture one face on our car. bloggers, aar, the blacks speak out. their funeral was jsut what they wanted. it is not roves place to steal the funeral and trash it. we must honor these people. the reverand. carter, angelo mmmmmm (her name, help me, she is so beautifukl and smart) take the funeral back, damnit

[Kewl! The acid is kicking in!]

What of Rove's has backfired? He is despicable, evil, contemptible, nasty, deranged, misguided. But what makes him so dangerous is that he is VERY GOOD at what he does. I have to grudgingly concede that we might have been played on this one.

[ALL is going according to Emperor Rove's Master Plan!]

Ummm, the Plame outing, for one check out how many investigations and scandals the bush cabal is currently undergoing and tell me again how successful Rove has been. He must have had his hand in all the events that are now being investigated because he is all-powerful, right?

[MERRY FITZMAS!!! In case you haven't noticed, that whole Plame investigation has gone exactly NOWHERE. Even Scooter Libby will end up scot-free when it is all over.]

He isn't a "genius" ... He just is such a lowlife that he has NO problem playing outside the boundaries ... He is like the 22 year old who goes after vulnerable 15 year old girls ... It is easy fishing, but no one does it because there are clear social boundaries about it ... That doesn't make the 22 year old a "player" ... It means he is puke ...

[And speaking of a 32 year old who goes after vulnerable 15 year old girls...what has Pied Piper Pitt been up to lately?]

Oooohhh, folks on aol are not reacting kindly to some of the remarks at the King funeral. And of course, since this poll isn't turning out the way the DUmmies would like it to turn out, it must be "freeped":

I'm on a list serve, professional issues, supposed to be non political. Someone posted how sad she had been all week because of Coretta King's passing. OK, I could let that go by. I can understand that. But then, she posts again and says she's also depressed because Betty Freidan is dead and how she has affected families blah blah blah. I'm about to become balistic and get myself thrown off the whole listserve. arrrrrgggggg.

How do you suppose Rove got Carter and Lowery to make fools of themselves?

He started off with prime raw materials, then got our of their way.

Too bad some of those Black DinocRats would have named one thing that their blind allegence to the Plantation has done for Blacks. Rather they point the finger at GW to hide the damage they have done to their own culture.

Didn't see EyeCondi speaking! How come Jesse?

I love how the Democrats do stupid stupid things and it is somehow Rove's fault that the Dims are so dumb.

Just what I was thinking. Even in the convoluted thinking of the DUmmy mind, (and I use the word "mind" in the broadest sense of the term) how can they twist logic far enough out of shape to believe that whenever DUmmy heroes such as Carter and Lowery make stupid a##es of themselves like they did yesterday, somehow Bush and Rove must have tricked them into doing it?

Believe me, both Carter and the good rev Lowery are perfectly capable of making stupid a##es of themselves without any input from Rove's Diebold mind control machine. In fact I have seen them do it many times before yesterday, and I don't even keep track of what they're up to.

That's HIS fault???!!!

Of course it is..........in Bizzarroworld where DUmmies live.

You too can be beamed up to Bizzarroworld and find happiness as a DUmmy moonbat. The only requirement is that you donate your frontal lobes to medical research before leaving.

I don't know how that double Ping happened. I QUICKLY hit the Post button but something went wrong.

I had that happening to me not to long ago...I bought me a new computer and now it's fixed!

No, seriously, I did have it happening on my last computer and it turned out to be I had the button set to respond to quickly. I went in and changed the speed it would do the double click and it fixed the problem.

When will your team get a clue that you DON'T politicize funerals?

Let's not forget PA's Lt. Governor Catherine Baker Knoll who crashed! a Marine's funeral. Classy move.

Freeped poll for sure Except that it is interesting that Clinton has a majority saying they enjoyed his remarks.

Maybe because Clinton showed a teeny bit of class for a change and America gives credit where credit is due. Thats something the DUmmies don't understand.

I liked this one:

What did you think of President Bush's remarks at the funeral?

They were just right 82%
I didn't like them 18%

Total Votes: 91,616

That one was especially good. All the answers went against the DUmmies. Of course anytime a poll reflects the opinions of the people and goes against them, it must have been "freeped."

Notice where they think freepers are using a computer to "freep" the poll. Thats what they do. They are projecting again.
