For four months this website has been one of the few places (apart from the Danish media, of course) where information could be found on the cartoon affair. Today the story is all over the global mainstream media (MSM). Hence there is no need for us to repeat what has been mentioned elsewhere. Our readers probably already know that the Danish and Norwegian embassies in Damascus have been set on fire, that the U.S. and British governments are pleased that their newspapers do not have the guts of some European ones, and that the venerable BBC --never hesitating to offend prudish Christians --found itself in a "dilemma" when it had to decide whether or not to show prudish Muslims twelve, mostly inoffensive cartoons [see them here, halfway down the page] --so inoffensive in fact that alienated Danish Muslim fanatics had to add three truly offensive cartoons (of their own making?) to deliberately incite Islamic hatred against Denmark.

BRUSSELS JOURNAL.com: "'THE WAR IS ON'" (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Yesterday (Thursday) Mullah Krekar, the alleged leader of the Islamist group Ansar al-Islam who has been living in Norway as a refugee since 1991, said that the publication of the Muhammad cartoons was a declaration of war. "The war has begun," he told Norwegian journalists. Mr Krekar said Muslims in Norway are preparing to fight. "It does not matter if the governments of Norway and Denmark apologize, the war is on.") (February 3, 2006)
ISLAMONLINE.net: Cairo - "WARNINGS CARTOONS RISK VIOLENCE" (ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The blasphemous cartoons of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by a Danish daily and other European newspapers are risking to trigger acts of violence around the world, officials and commentators warn." (February 2, 2006)
Yesterday the Brussels-based Flemish newspaper De Morgen interviewed Mr Momani over the phone. The Jordanian journalist appeared to be in a panic. According to the interview, which was published today, he told De Morgen:
"I cannot assess what severe penalties await me."
Wow.
I thought some were funny, does that mean i'm gonna be killed?
The jailed Mr Momani is the first victim of the Cartoon War. His fate should concern all of us --including the timid American press.
So sadly truly true.
These "cartoons are so badly and incompetently executed that they can only be the result of a sick mind --- the muslims themselves.
Truth offends Muslims.
Amazing ... just amazing. The IDIOTS are proving the point of the cartoons far more expeditiously than the cartoonist could have ever hoped or expected.
And liberals
"U.S. and British governments are pleased that their newspapers do not have the guts of some European ones..."
I would not call it guts. It's more like honesty.
That's just what I was thinking. The Rumsfeld/soldier cartoon is very offensive, but it's hard to imagine anyone burning an embassy or a newspaper office over it.
OPINION: Nothing amazes me anymore.

I'm not a Muslim, nor a Muslim scholar so I cannot answer your question.
The murderously demented muzzies need to be dealt with. People who behave like they do are a constant danger to any society.
The time has come to serious consider what method can best protect us from these criminally insane creatures. Must we deport them? Must we confine them? Must we physically eradicate them? By "them", I mean any and all leaders, clerics and scholars in their so called community.
I don't kow whether this is enough, but it's a start. Coinciding with this, Islam must be declared a criminal organization dedicated to the violent overthrow of the U S. All mosques must be closed, confiscated and all assets seized.
If new cult leaders attempt to fill the vacuum, they too must be removed.
Of course our govt. will do none of this. They will kill a few muzzies here and there in the world while continuing to tell us it is a religion of peace, beautiful at its heart. They will ignore when possible and appease when they can't ignore. They will not accept the fact that this is a clash of civilizations and they will not listen when barbarians declare war upon them and go on a worldwide killing rampage.
Things look pretty grim. You can't fight, much less win a war against an enemy you will not recognize. There is no real war one terror unless there is a war against its source. Its source is mainstream Islam. That can no longer be denied by anyone but a foolish politician or diplomat.
The barbarians are speaking their intent and they are acting.
We must recognize and deal with it or die.
Okay...so they go after this guy who published a few of the cartoons...yet they are running around passing out copies of all 12--plus adding 3 more. So why aren't the heads of these distributors of blasphemy stuck on pikes?
Maybe I need to send a letter to the editor at Al-Jazeera and ask...
Now don't be insulting orcs like that. Methinks a great many of them would be highly offended at being compared to a Muslim.
The following is quoted from the link your provided:
There's only one true Islam,... Ahlu Sunna Wal Jama'ah. That is anyone, which is also known as the salafy, who follow Al-Quran and Sunnah and understand it with the salaf generation's understanding.
Islam is for smart people not for the people who believe in such "stupid" thing as democracy or else. Democracy that determine the truth by the majority. Could they imagine if the majority among them are retarded people or monkeys? or people who believe that one of the most popular human in this world is God while he himself saying, "father,... father,... why you left me"?
Again, no matter how hard you, my brother moslem, explaine it to them... :)... they all remain dumb.
It's so much better for you to return to the real Islam. Seek and learn. Where the salafy is. And then practice it in your life.
This message is for all of my brother moslem... Salam 'alaykum wa rahmatullah...
And our politicians just keep telling us these people are like us and want democracy....
