Congrats for doing a great job. Thank you.
To: All
The voting is going well but to get into first place we are going to need our other friends here at FR to join in.
If you have a ping list, ask your friends to join us.
If you know others with large ping lists, as them to join the effort.
We still have a shot at it, but we need to ramp it up, now.
I only ask because I know that we will get much more exposure if we make it into first place and we must let the world know the danger of failing to deal with the Iranian regime, we must get the word out.
Thanks for all your support and effort.
It is much appreciated.

I think you might enjoy this.
Earlier today I wrote the folks over at Iraq the Model, last years winner of the weblog award and current leader in the polls.
I told them that I admired their work and was therefore frustrated that we are "competitors" in the weblogawards.
The wrote back, almost immediately:
"I want you to know that I'm a big fan of your blog and I check it almost everyday!
I'm also in support of freedom for the people of Iran who deserve real democracy and true liberty.
Honestly, if your blog wins the title I will be just as glad as if it were my blog."
He then added:
"If you can send me the html code for the logo you have on the top of the left side bar of your blog, I'll be more than glad to put it on my blog."
I did and they posted it immediately.

It is refreshing to know that we are doing our part to win the war on terror and support real democracy in both Iraq and Iran.
It also makes me proud that the blogosphere has this kind of attitude and character.
Vote now and vote every 24 hours. Voting ends on the 15th.

I'm also in support of freedom for the people of Iran who deserve real democracy and true liberty. {{grins and tears}} As I said in our FReepmail this week, Iraqthemodel has been a valuable source this year. It is now time for the Iranians to be free. Their attitude is further proof that freedom can win hearts and minds.
Voted for today!

Canteen Ping!
I'm using the ping list for something outside of the Canteen for a reason.
DoctorZIn has supported our Troops and their efforts in Iraq from the beginning.
The American Iranian community has been steadfast in their support of America during these trying times.
While many supposed *allies* have turned their backs, they have reached out to help get the message out.
One such person is DoctorZIn. (For more information about him, please visit his profile page here.)
In the spirit of helping to promote freedom throughout the entire Middle East and to continue the wonderful work that our Troops began, I'm pining you to help DoctorZIn and his blog get the recognition that it deserves.
You can vote for his blog (which you can read at FR as well). You can vote every 24 hours from now until December 15th.
To do so, please go here: http://weblogawards.org/2005/12/best_middle_east_or_africa_blo.php
Thank you!!

I figured that part out (after some hunting around). Unless my browser didn't show the correct tally, Regime Change Iran appears to be #1 now!
