I will/can argue with any one about many things, but unless I am arguing the noun stupid with someone that is... I cannot, it would be stupid.
What really troubles me is that the above wit and wisdom is much too long for a tagline, and Oprah may be able to help but now Martha is available (either way I am sure Michael will be consulted)
Whew!

at least some of our leaders are NOT INSANE.John Kerry. His candidacy on earth has ended. His residency on Mars has just begun.
Now crush that dwarf, and hand me the pliers.

at least some of our leaders are not insane That's true--Evan Bayh, Ben Nelson, Joe Lieberman. But they're a vanishing breed. You DUmmies keep gravitating to the extremist nut jobs--Daffy Dean, Babs Botoxer, and the like.

So I think the Democrats are not really serious about election reform; it would uncover too much, and uncover things they don't want uncovered. Oh, I think the DUmmies are sincere -- just like Pauline Kael (?) saying "How could Nixon have won [over McGovern]? I don't know anyone who voted for him!"
I do, however, think this is the reason the DUmmies are so frustrated in their attempts to get their Dem senators and reps to do something! (What do I mean, "think"? Some things you can be sure of!)

What has always amused me is their constant contention that the overwhelming majority of the military vote went for Kerry, and not Bush.
To me, this seems the same thing as myself insisting the overwhelming majority of the Boston vote went for Bush, and not Kerry, and was not counted, or miscounted.
And the sad fact is, while the DUmmies are, and I would be, wrong, I would perhaps be closer to the truth than they--Bush would never have won Boston, but it seems highly likely he probably got more votes in Boston than were counted.

I'm in Boston (Southie, if you know the area), and you could be right. Kerry was actually booed at a "time" in Southie; he was having a fundraiser upstairs, and one of the local pols invited him to step in and say a few words. I gather it turned out to be
very few! Southie has lots of "Reagan Democrats" and a high count of veterans.
Boston elections, I hear, are incredibly dirty -- and the significant ones are Dems against Dems. My sister has a friend (an honest man) who used to be high up in the Boston election department (retired early -- diabetes). Knocked himself out on the job -- problem was he didn't feel he could trust the people working for him, so he was always running around like a madman during elections, though there was one primary (very local and low-level with about 10% turnout) that he believed was "pretty clean."

Please don't go there.
You've trying to demonstrate her absurdity by being absurd, your conspiracy theories answering her conspiracy theories. That's normally fine, but doing this based on the death of her first husband, is not responsible, IMHO.

Hey, I didn't know that TehRAYzuh was an expert in this field! Color me impressed - NOT!
Care to demonstrate, TehRAYzuh?
BTW, notice that she's off message. She inferred that the main problem was with the machines that use optical scanners. Get it right, Mrs. Heinz, it's Diebold. D-I-E-B-O-L-D.

Actually I thought the "Not Insane" was a Firesign Theater reference, and didn't really take the content seriously. You shouldn't either: none of the people you reference are leaders in the Democrat party--and none of them ever will be.

Nice to see we're not crazy after all... They're using Ter-Ray-Zuh as their arbiter of sanity. I may die laughing.

We do have work to do and it is nice to see that at least some of our leaders are not insane. Oh, please, please, please, please, please work like dogs trying to convince the country that 3.5 million votes isn't a win.
I LOVE a woman who states her mind! Hopefully she will impact her husband!
I'll bet she has...with a right hook.
She "gets it."
If the "it" is cooking sherry by the gallon, you're correct.
We certainly have a monkey for a president that will always be under a shroud of scandal.
ALL HAIL THE EXALTED WAR MONKEY KING, CHIMPUS KHAN!! Oh and as far as scandal, I have two words for you: Clinton Administration.
I hope she does a lot more speaking out,
Wow, we share a hope with DU. Maybe America can be united again.
