My greatness was fleeting.Maybe you could cement your place in history by being mentioned in Sean Hannity's next book!

Hannity has a book??? Sounds like just the thing to read while dining on a fine Ruth's Chris Steak.

All Hail The Pledgemaster! Sir, this term perhaps we should do away with the mandatory, "FReep While Nude" rule.

One way to get a sense of the site is read old threads.
Click on posters names who say something that interests you and go to their home page. From there go to their links page and you will see threads that they have book marked and get a sense of threads that were of past worth.
You don't necessarily need to post to those old threads, but it will give you an overview of good discussions.

Welcome to FR...you're now a FReeper. OBTW...it was FR that busted Dan Rather and his forged docs.
Living in MASS... ;o( you poor thing...you do need support. Most of us here at FR consider those 2 senators as traitors.

Sometimes I think it is wisest to stay away from the world of politics. I tell myself all the time "it's time to stop staying up-to-date with what's going on in the world."
But then something exciting and good happens like the Iraq elections and I'm glad I stayed plugged in.
But some stories, like the UN sex scandal, the modern slave trade in general, and cruelty to animals stories take me to the limit.
It's probably good that your wife isn't into it so you can get away from it if you need to.
Still, it would be nice if people who didn't pay attention to stuff would take a voter safety class before casting their votes.
