BISMARCK, N.D. (Jan. 22) - A man here faces a misdemeanor charge of voting twice in the November general election.

Jamie Rodahl, 26, was charged on Thursday with voting twice in the same election. The misdemeanor is punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Burleigh County prosecutor Lloyd Suhr said the county's auditor's office discovered Rodahl's two votes during a routine check of the ballots.

"We don't know what his motivation was," Suhr said. "All we know is that the investigation revealed that two votes were cast by him."

Maj. Nick Sevart said Rodahl told investigators that he thought he'd sent his absentee ballot in too early, and voted again to make sure his vote counted.

Sevart said it was the first time Rodahl participated in an election. He said Rodahl also voted in the wrong precinct.

A court date has not been scheduled.

One down, thousands to go... (that's why they're ticked off at this election -- they thought they had enough multi-voters, and know that the pubbies obey the law).

The article doesn't actually say that he's a Democrat.

Do you know something they don't mention?

Then again, if he was a Republican, it would be mentioned in every sentence.

Boy. This headline is right up there with 'The sky is blue' or 'Hillary Clinton is an ugly bitch' in its obviousness isn't it?

Apparently there was one that only voted twice -- they're charging him with not making quota.

Ya know, Jim...it isn't polite to sign up and post aricles in the first few moments of your identity...especially ones that have annoying pop-ups and a whiff of vanity about them. The next thing you know, you're likely to catch a wiff of ozone and link to a wav file that says..."He's dead, Jim."

Like Hell!!!

First of all, he's 26 and voting in his first election???

Nothing like trying to make up for past apathy.

This guy knew PRECISELY what he was doing. Jail...oh, I don't know. How about barring him from voting ever again?

Pennsylvania was stolen for Gore and Kerry this way.

The city folk in Philly drop the absentee in the mailbox on their way to the polls...and when I write 'polls' in the plural, it's intentional...

SO the link to the story you show goes to conservative replublican.com, but the actual story is on AOL News and never mentions that the man is Democrat. How do you know? And why did your listed website change the name of the headline?

It's usually not right to make assumptions but as GoBucks said if he was a Republican that word woulda been printed 15 times in the article. I'd bet the house his votes said "Kerry" next to them.

I have no idea why the website changed the heading. It caught my attention and Im sure the guy is a democrat. If he was Republican, AOL or whoever it is with the story would have made sure to mention that fact.
And Kerry, Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson would be screaming about it already.

If we really want to have fun with the Dems, we should seek fraud in every country in every state. As they watch their vote totals drop the Boxer Rebellion will be sedate in comparison.
