DUmmie FUnnies 01-21-05 ("Did you hear the Freeper on NPR?")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | January 21, 2005 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

Posted on 01/21/2005 7:04:27 AM PST by PJ-Comix

Just a short edition of the DUFUs in this edition, mainly because I want to find out what Freeper was interviewed on NPR as referred to in this DUmmie THREAD titled, “Did you hear the Freeper on NPR?” I would like a transcript of the interview and congratulate the mystery Freeper as well as assure him that I am NOT full of blinding INSANE JEALOUS RAGE over the fact that he got to be interviewed on national radio about the DUmmies, a subject in which I am the most renown expert. Thus far, the closest I have come to being interviewed about the DUmmies was the time a couple of months ago when I called up Brian Craig on our local talk radio station and he hung up on me while muttering something about me being an “agenda caller.” As usual the DUmmie rantings are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, still waiting on hold, is in the [brackets]:

Did you hear the Freeper on NPR? They had a guy from Free Republic on NPR last night that said ANSWER and Code Pink had allied themselves with Osama Bin Laden and the terrorists, and that giving them a bleacher permit in DC was like giving Saddam Hussein bleachers at the parade. WTF is with THEM and with NPR???

[All one had to do was watch C-SPAN2 last night. They broadcast that rally and there is NO DOUBT that ANSWER (and many DUmmies) have indeed aligned themselves with the terrorists (as well as Castro, the Chavistas, and the Sandinistas). My only gripe with this particular NPR broadcast is they did not turn to the TOP expert on DUmmie-ology for commentary.]

Hmm. That's the second time in a week NPR reported the protestors ties to OBL through a FReeper spokesperson. What is their agenda anyhow?

[Every once in a while the TRUTH accidentally seeps through on NPR.]

The first one was when they were interviewing about access for protestors and worshippers. The FReeper made the same exact comment and they reported it. To do it a second time seems like they want to reinforce that thought in listeners' minds. It is definately worth a call so they know we are watching them.

[And when you get NPR on the line, please put in a plug for them interviewing the humble reporter of the DUmmie FUnnies.]

You'd have to have lived in a cave... with no radio for the last 3 years if you don't know that NPR is officially National Propaganda Radio. They don't even make an effort to be balanced, you will hear a hour of bullshit from the right and 30 seconds of carefully watered down talk from the left.

[What alternate universe are you living in since it is exactly the REVERSE situation over at NPR.]

I've had it with FreeRepublic.com. What kinds of non-violent things can we do to f*ck with them?

[Asked to be placed on the DUFU PING List.]

NPR had a fawning interview with Karl Rove yesterday. It was pretty puke-inducing...I understand that he's newsworthy just because of his position of power within the Bush administration. But the whole tone of the interview was pretty obsequious IMO.

[Actually the interview was really very CONFRONTATIONAL. However, the electromagnetic radiation from the center of the Perfect Rovian Storm jammed the unfriendly portions of the broadcast, leaving only the few parts that would sound fawning.]

Her Hillaryness is astute enough to know she'd better distance herself from these wingnuts if she's ever to achieve her true goal in life of World Domination. I don't think she gives a flying flip what DU thinks of her, because they hold the political clout of shredded Kleenex.

That's okay. A few of these types I spoke to were to damn lazy to go to the polls. "Man, I wanted to vote for Kerry". I laughed at them when I heard that.

Same here! The lib's I'm friends with were just too lazy to go to the polls, but then again so were some of my W supporter friends. Which I assume is because I'm in the youth voter block (I'm 23).

On the other hand, I voted before work and was ecstatic to find out that my brother (whom I wanted to pickup from college to make sure he could vote, but couldn't bcs I had work) DID get to vote! His girlfriend went all the way up to the liberal bastion of UMass to bring him back to vote. My youngest brother also got to vote for the first time (he had turned 18 in October).

Sorry about that rant, I'm just so happy that both my bro's got to vote in their first presidential election! ^^ No slackers in this family!

I understand. I'm was beaming from ear to ear when I found out that my niece, who turned 18 ON election day, not only voted but was a poll worker.

P.J., sir, I just noticed one of your threads is up to "1,999+ views;" have you ever kept track of which threads provoked the most responses?

This, and a ping list of almost 600, might give you at least a vague-but-reasonable idea of how large a potential audience outside of Free Republic might be.....something of course book publishers are interested in knowing.

And as for everyone else, if you're not on P.J.'s ping list for the DUmmie FUnnies, but wish to be, holler at him; he'd be happy to have you aboard, and believe me, it just gets better and better.

You should get a kick out of this, sir.

I just woke up at 2:30 p.m (Nebraska time; misty and foggy here, but not particularly cold)--not that I am a late riser, but that I work at nights--and after touring the DUmmie FUnnies here, I trekked amidst the sludge and sewage and silt of DUmmieland, for my "wake-me-up."

Anyway, the DUmmies have the hots for Jenna Bush.

Really.

You know, if you have to specify that advice you are seeking is to be nonviolent, you're likely in the wrong place at the wrong time. I know, I know, perhaps it's far too obscure of a clue for DUmmies to understand, but if I had to make such a definition, I'd be runnin' for the log-off button.

"You'd have to have lived in a cave... with no radio for the last 3 years if you don't know that NPR is officially National Propaganda Radio."

I'm just glad they qualified that as living in a cave with no radio for the last three years, because there are probably many DUmmies who do live in caves with recently purchased radios.

Great work once again PJ! Reading the DUFU's is like opening cracker jacks, theres a prize in every box!

Thats about what I'm afraid of. I really believe that is her goal and she knows she has to have the southern states and the western states to get elected. What really scares me is Hillary never undertakes anything she is not absolutely positive she will win. If she runs, I am afraid she will win.

Because John Kerry REALLY won the election, silly. :)

I suppose they have finally realized that the term "liberal" has become synonymous with "anti-American" in the minds of many Americans.

Oh yes, but little do they know, "progressive" isa even worse. Most AMericans equate that to mean gay rights, and all the anything goes agenda, in the schools and everywhere else!!

Oh, well, then - they must have been DISENFRANCHISED!

Line from that pathetic DUmmie rant:

"I would have surely gone suicidal--not a far stretch from a clinical depression which has taken hold of me for quite some time now."

But fortunately, we compassionate conservatives have provided a suicide hotline, especially for DUmmies:

1-800-BUSH-WON (Thanks, PJ!)

Oh, geez, get a load of THIS response from the DUmmie thread:

"I join the effort to right the wrong...spear in hand, i take my place in the line."

Are these people drama queens or what?

They're drama queens.

But none of them are ever going to get an Academy Award.

I just read that thread. Sick people. One DU poster said Jenna looks like a girl who will become fat and marry a doctor or lawyer.
I think he must have her confused with Elizabeth Edwards.

I wasn't too fond of their descriptions of Barbara (Sr.) Bush, either, sir.

The DUmmies think "beauty" is some teenaged chick with no surplus poundage (although, judging from their alleged photographs of each other, one is hard-pressed to find one of these in DUmmieland).

To me, "beauty" is a quality of a person, not a visual quality. There is much that is beautiful about grace, class, courtesy, manners, elegance, fortitude.

Better a dumpy farmwife (not being negative here; THIS is a farming area) with a pleasant countenance, than some "good looking" chick whose face is contorted in Rage and Hate.
